Kitchen without a pantry

We recently purchased a house, and realized that it does not have a pantry and there aren't really any ideal places where we could add one. Does anybody have any advice for creating a pantry with the existing cabinetry or a place to add a pantry (that would be fairly inexpensive)? I have attached pictures of the kitchen that the previous owner took.

Very simple
Just use couple of the cabinets as a pantry.

Yes, can use slide-out shelving, or if don't need all the upper cabinets, do what we did...install Ikea open racks and give it an Andy Warhol look, but only if you're a neatnik.

My kitchen had no pantry & when I redid it (refaced cabinets, new appliances & granite counter tops) I had slide out drawers installed in some of the cabinets for easy access for pots & pans & for pantry items.

If you want a proper built pantry, I would suggest the space in your second picture- between the fridge and the end wall. That would mean to get a cabinet maker involved to build it for you, using the same type of doors that you have.
