LOVE this firepit

I have searched for months and months for just the right firepit to utilize leftover large armourstone from our backyard landscaping. This is perfect!
My question for you is-what is underneath the lavarock? Is it just a ring hooked to a gas line or is there more to it then that?

    It's a fire pit kit that hooks up to a gas line. The fire comes out of a circular unit like a larger version of a gas stove. You can top with lava rock, glass pebbles or even stone.

    Self contained fire pits with a propane tank can be independent of the gas line.

    Are the couches waterproof? I imagine they are or the house is somewhere that doesn't get a lot of rain. The fire pit looks great, I think gas fire pits on patios is easily the best option. They don't have any smoke blowing into people's faces. http://www.patioworldnsw.com.au
