I just got a $300,000.00 quote to add on and completely redo our home . Or that price I can buy a new home I love my floor plan and layout but I need to scale the budget way back so the estimate for my custom cabinets throughout my entire home including closets , 3 bathrooms and laundry room , kitchen is $40,000.00 . So my question is there a huge difference in custom cabinets then the one pre built ? Should I just do custom in the kitchen? I need some advice I had planned on spending about $150,000.00 for my entire project . Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
