I would wait until next year to decorate.......I know that 7 weeks might seem like a long time, but if you buy something new now you will have to use it next year and it might not work with your new room and a possible roommate.

Unless you know that you will have the same room and that you don't have to haul everything out of the room for the summer......then you can think about decorating now.

Here are some of my thoughts:

I am a big fan of stringing lights around the bed by using little nails and draping them above the bed high on the walls or on the ceiling.

I also like to drape large pieces of delicate drapery fabric behind the bed as a headboard behind the beds.....also tacked into place with tiny nails.

Color coordinate the fabric with big pillows tossed on the beds.........

Another fun item is a chandelier that hangs on a hook with a cord to the plug in the wall.
You can decide if the chandelier should go over your desk or in the corner over a chair
or ....... ???
