Love the rug and wall color - not a fan of the 2 boxy chairs - I would suggest a different color and design like from Pier 1 or World Market. Pillows are nice.

Yes I think the chairs are too boxy for the space. They close in the room too much. Maybe a lighter color low profile loveseat would be a better option. I like the pillows

What if you put one of the "boxy" chairs where the curved chair is and put your curved chair in the corner either where the corner window is....turned toward the room.. or on the other side of the fireplace. That way, the two "boxy" chairs will be split up and look more uniform around the room. I love your little silver colored table? I would put it at the end of the couch between the chair and the couch. You do need some lamps...maybe start with a floor lamp by one of the chairs.

Turn the rug, if it's not already, so the length is parallel to the fireplace. Remove the single chair and replace it with one of the leather chairs so the two face each other across the rug. Pull the leather chair off the wall a bit while still leaving room to walk between it and the couch.

It looks like full length drapes might be a problem. Perhaps single panels could go on the outside edges only of the fireplace windows and matching roman shades on the windows over the now-single leather chair.

Turn the rug, place the sofa opposite the 2 leather chairs.
Place the silvery side table in between the 2 leather chairs.
Or add a silver stool inbetween the leather chairs.


Add a coffee table to complete the space.
