Have you looked into teak? I have it under my pergola and leave it out all year. It has mellowed to a nice silvery light brown and is very heavy and substantial. It's a bit of an investment, but will last for many years with just a scrub every spring. We're having very strong wind gusts right now and it's just sitting there...
