Putting new flooring in kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms that flow together in small lake cottage. Putting same floor in all rooms. I currently have unfinished red oak flooring on my stairs that will be finished to match whatever floor I put in. I've attached pics of a Stained Hickory in the color Chivas do you think it's to dark? Or should I go with an Estate Grade Red Oak? Also don't know what size 3 1/4, 4 1/4 or larger in small room. Just don't know....
