I see what you mean, there's a lot of garage out front. Installing windows on the side of the garage would add some interest. I'd look at landscaping, too. Right now, all of the plantings close to the house are really low. Add some taller plantings to give it some interest. Looks like the house wall by the windows could use a good power washing.

You have nice curb appeal. Plant some tall flowering shrubs on the garage elevation - do this with landscape. Don't change the body of the house or garage door color - if you want to pop anything, shift your trim color at the fascia but leave the siding tone that matches the stone. You could also add a horizontal trim board at the base of the garage gable and put shake above

HI -- I think your house is the way it should be for that style of house . Instead of focusing on the garage ,you need to play up the front entrance on the house . Apart from adding to the landscaping in front of the garage and possibly adding new garage doors do something more with the front . How about adding some horizontal cedar or hardy boards on each side of the front window and over to and around the front door and on the front pillar . Then paint the house or parts of it to give it some definition. Or put the boards on the front window and on the pillar . Either way . For an accent color use a black/brown on some areas and the roof trim . The problem is mostly that the house is just a flat all one color . Make some copies of a picture of your house and sit and color up some ideas and see what looks good to you . Or get a computer program for that . Then you will know what to do . Or consult an architect or designer to help with that.

I would add a planter next to the door on the garage side with plants as tall as visually acceptable. Some of the other suggestions are great too!

Great looking house as is. The landscape behind the garage is really nice -- why not continue it around to the front?

How about three or five tall pots with plants on that side of the garage?

Maybe build a small gable on the end wall, heavy posts & lattice walls, 2' or so deep, with a gable roof, the length being 1/3 to 1/4 the width of the wall. That will bring the scale down.
