Need help with my kitchen

We recently changed our kitchen from an impractical u shape to an L shape with island. In doing so we changed the colour of the cabinets the bench top and backsplash. The kitchen still does not look right. I think we need to change the pantry door but I think something else is needed to blend the kitchen in with the rest of the house. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks
I am happy to change the wall colours as i dont really like them. Thanks

your kitchen is looking a little dull. a suggestion is to paint the cabinet doors white. i also think under cabinet lights help. have you install those? honestly i would make the backsplash a brighter color but since it's new, no touchy. love the counter tops, kitchen sink and island though :)

Yeah when we first put it in the floor was a cream colour but we have since changed the floor and its so dark now! Its a shame as we just did it. Its a bit brighter in the day time so maybe if i can add some accessories/change the pantry door it might be less dark (this is a picture of it in the daylight...)

I liked the suggestions to put a frosted glass insert in your door and to paint the non-glass part of the door to match your cabinet fronts. I think that one change would make a big difference overall. Good luck and enjoy your beautifully remodeled kitchen!

I love the grey you've chosen for your cupboards. See if you can put under cabinet lighting in your kitchen. Shouldn't be difficult and makes a huge difference. You could paint the pantry door with chalkboard paint.

I like the idea of a frosted pantry door, but I would also replace the microwave with one that matches the other appliances.

A nice little stainless microwave will almost disappear and the frostd pantry door with frame to match cabinets will probably do the trick, then just some color with soma accessories, big colorful bowl of fruit on the island for starters.

White walls would make it sleeker and more modern. Would you be willing to have some decorative jars full of something that has a little splash of color? Yellow or green would love delightful in a gray and white kitchen.

A different color blind, like cream. Rugs of color!

You may need under cabinet lighting.

continue the backsplash all the way up behind the range hood.

Under cabinet lighting on a dimmer will brighten up your counter space wonderfully! I love the frosted pantry door idea and microwave in stainless. A nice beige, like bar harbor beige 1032 from Benjamin Moore would look nice. Otherwise great job on your kitchen, enjoy it;)

A lighter backsplash would be beautiful and a new pantry door and stainless microwave otherwise very nice

I thi the cabinets and hardware are beautiful, I think the problem is definitely the backsplash. I would do a white glass subway backsplash

Can do subway in herringbone pattern for added interest, do a light grey grout or dark grey

Would also continue backsplash up to the ceiling past the range hood and add crown above the cabinets to the top of the ceiling. Whenever I see cabinets that stop here (my own included) I think of stock cabinets or dust collecting. Taking them to the ceiling will also make the walls appear higher

Love the cabinet color and suggestion for frosting glass inset on pantry door. Some undercab lights and rugs as suggested I think will pull it all together! Great space.

Add a roman shade or valance above the window. Change pantry door to glass front and change to standard doorknob.love the grey cabinets
