I want to refresh/update the look of my kitchen without doing a major renovation. My kitchen has white cabinets and a blue and white checkered tiled floor - both of which I would like to keep. I have removed the old wallpaper and plan to paint the walls and replace the cheap counter tops, the sink, and the back splash. My dilemma is working around the tile floor without doing the whole kitchen in blue and white. I tend to like the more rustic/farmhouse type look and prefer earth tones/neutral shades. Any ideas? Thanks.
