Ideally, if the doors are in sight of one another, they should be the same color. If you want visual harmony to the home, keeping the same color throughout will help the home appear uniform. However, you can change up the color of the doors on separate floors, or different colors on doors that aren't within sight of each other, especially if you want to visually differentiate one room or area from the other.
