The whole talk about contamination on wood is making me crazy . You clean it like any wood cutting board. I have had wood counters for years, I love them when they start lookin a little sad I sand them with a very fine sandpaper and reoil them they look like new again There are wood chopping blocks in Europe that are very old and they don't have any more contamination than your usual counter top Wood actually has an enzyme that kills bacteria so just clean it and love it..
