I like the floor. what kind of kitchen floor did you put in?

We are going to build a house and so far I cannot find an engineered wood floor that I like. We are building on slab. Can you recommend a realistic looking engineerd wood flooring?

ee47, engineered wood flooring is real wood flooring, it just has a ply backer board underneath it. High quality engineered floors can even be stained and finished on site just like a solid 3/4" floor. We can provide you with any floor you like as an engineered product. Let us know if we can help.

You have to visit stores that sell engineered wood to look them up close for what you are looking for. You would not however get similar uneven surface look from that.

We can hand scrape and finish a floor before delivery if need be. :-)

The floors look like they are from Chaparral collection by Hallmark Floors. Is this correct?

I understand it is engineered but what type of wood is it though, i.e., oak, maple?

I believe Habitat Architecture said Walnut. We have reclaimed visuals in both solid and engineered you may want to take a look at, called Organic. Habitat Architecture floors are beautiful!
