Paint the back of your TV unit a color or some people stencil a design, or decopodge. You could accent the front of drawers at bottom with sme color combo or complimentary color. It hour seeing the other side, I'd hate to say paint or paper the entire wall behind your TV .

You can add slide-out baskets to the cubbies and arrange a few decorative baskets on top of the piece. You could also change out the hardware on the drawers with teal ceramic or amber glass knobs. You could also cut a piece of luan to fit inside the actual TV part of the cabinet and cover it with wallpaper, seagrass matting, or a pretty fabric. That way, when your décor changes you can easily change the look. Good luck!
