cooking range in front of a window

12 years ago
We just purchased a new house and the gas cooking range is in front of a window. We are doing some kitchen renovations and want to replace the appliances, but are not planning on changing the cabinets or layout. What options do we have if we don't want a hood to hang down in front of our window?
