How well/long does remesh hold up?

I'm considering it for a fence project like this. Has it held up well?

The remesh seems to hold up pretty well. I have installed fences with this material that are still in good shape at least 6 years later. We usually use 6 or 10 gauge mesh, so it is pretty thick and strong.

Can you purchase this remesh already rusted? Or do you let your's weather naturally? I've searched for this "pre-rusted" on the web, but can't find it.
