Double hung vs. casement

Love your work. Where did you place true double hung and where did you place casement that look like double hung. I would have never known that there was a mix until reading some of your answers to other questions. Great work!!!

    The casements were used mainly at the kitchen, where deep counters make it difficult to operate a double hung. Thanks for the nice comments!

    Thanks for your response! Makes sense. What should the width of the light divider or mutin (sp?) be to make it look like a double hung window? Thanks!!

    I believe I just responded in a separate query, but the lock rail on these casements is approx. 2 inches thick +/- 1/8" but you will want to confirm your manufacturer to match the actual double hung lock rails.
