Photoshop anyone?

I am starting to decorate the great room in our lake house. The sectional is brown as in photo. Have also attached photo of toss cushions that I have. Other pic is of a rug I found online. Is it too busy? Should I stick with a plain beige with texture? Would love if somebody could photo shop them in for me. Thanks

Im not your photoshop person but I think your choices are great... My concern (and hard to see on my screen) but do they work with your feature painting?

Painting is mostly brown & gray, that's why I wanted to bring more color in around the couch. Also perhaps this floor lamp..

Love the dog too! I've eyed this rug myself so I do love it, however in this case, I think it does clash with the painting, not colorwise, but overall theme. The rug really pops where as the picture says come and rest and float. Maybe a rug with waves to repeat the feeling of the water.

The rug and the pillows are too matchy-matchy. I love the painting and would have it matted and framed and then use it for your inspiration for the rest of the room. I'd go for a more serene look as suggested by the boat, soft colors, not so busy.

I agree with rainymorning think the rug is too busy. I think a more calming color choice maybe a paler blue. Love the picture saw the same one debated buying it as I already have one.

Are your walls white? I think a pale blue on the walls would be nice as well. Hard to tell if they are beige or white. Sand color would be nice too.

Update: 3 years later, but I finally found a rug & coffee table!
