We are building an outdoor kitchen on our deck and struggling a bit with the color of the granite counter top. It will be sitting on top of a stone island that has a lot of great color in it, so my first instinct is to do something more monochromatic, but I worry it will look just "blah". Our developer dropped off the samples below - sucuri and black pearl (polished and honed). I like the colors of the sucuri, but it worry it might be too busy next to the stone and the black pearl seems too dark...maybe something more blue/gray like Blue pearl? We are considering the leathered finish for the granite and I think it always looks really great with granite that has a lot of veining or movement. What do you all think?
