I recommend decomposed granite (DG) or rock mulch.

Stunning garden design. Beautiful plants, color everything. Succulents are a very easy plant to grow. If you want to add an exotic look to your garden, they are the way to go. Planting a succulent garden is fun because there are so many colors and shapes to play with. They become an interesting focal point in your landscaping.
