HI -- If you take the shutters off , the holes can be filled with a paintable caulking for exteriors and when the stucco is spray painted the holes will not show . And if you plan to put the shutters back on after painting then you won't need to worry about the holes . You should keep the whole house , main and second floor all the same color . Ok , all that being said then a color for the main house could be "Ranchwood" by Benjamin Moore . The porch floor and steps can be "Polo Blue " , which is an almost black Navy . Use this same Polo Blue on the shutters and the roof brackets . I would not accent the top of the porch wall and step sides ... just keep that the same color as the main house color . Also when painting , paint the down spouts the same house color too ... they should not be accented . If you can maybe direct the down spouts more to the sides , instead of in front of the pillars . These colors will look great with your yellow front door . The easy way to paint the stucco is to spray it .

When you remove the iron storm door, think about getting a cute wooden replacement. You can get them with screen & window inserts. Totally fitting for that place & who doesn't love a breeze coming in???

Hi, I m also picking an exterior color. Have fun! Seriously, I found getting a paint fandeck was a lifesaver. I would ditch the shutters and change your downspouts. Are rainchains a possibility? Since you mentioned yellow, and your house is kind of craftsman bungalow to my mind, I wanted ti share a couple photos of a houzz house with a scheme that I think might be pretty on your house. The color is Ben Moore Bryant Gold (Sherwin Williams match is Bakelite Gold) and the trim is Olivetone. Be sure you test, I used old drywall, the sun makes such a difference!

please get rid of the shutters, whatever you do! Colors are such a personal choice, I never offer my opinion on those. But my thoughts would be to make your door a different color than the trim, your porch ceiling blue, and the brackets, fascia and overhang a different color than the house. Nice place, by the way
