My husband and I are moving into a new teeny tiny rental. We have the Tillary Modular Sofa from West Elm (picture included) which is definitely too big for the space (but awesome for guests since it turns into two twin sized beds and for moving because it can be reconfigured however you want).

I'd really like to get a rug for the space and I love the style and price of Ikea's Stockholm Rug (picture included) Now I need to decide between the larger size (8'-2" x 11'-6") and the smaller (5'-7" x 7'-10"). I like the idea of larger rugs because I think people often buy them too small, but it just might be too large for the space I have. I've also attached rough CAD photos for reference.

I have another chair that will be added to the room as well as a lamp or side table and am open to a different layout with the larger size but this will give you a good idea of what the dimensions are. $100 difference between the sizes.
