Purchasing home. I didn't want to tackle the kitchen which is clean and has beautiful views until next year; however, seller taking white frig which doesn't fit anyway, and backdrafted gas stove isn't working, so may as well replace microwave, dishwasher, frig and gas stove. Next year, I had planned to replace like new formica with granite and stainless sink and add glass tile backsplash. Ceramic tile floor is like new. Should I replace appliances with white or stainless? No matter what, since I want a french door frig, a contractor will have to raise the cabinet over frig to add 2 inches. (I had to do this in my current home too, no big deal). Home is vacant, and have some other projects going, so had hoped to wait on kitchen. I won't go with backdraffed, backless gas stove, too pricey. Would go with traditional gas range/oven.

Love the house, any ideas appreciated. I haven't bought appliances in awhile. THANKS!
