I want a porch!

I have a two story brick house. My husband and I are planning to paint it next summer, but I also want a porch added to it. Do you think that would be awkward with my house type. Give me some advice!

A great looking house !!! I luv homes with porches, but i really "feel" in your case it is not appropriate... i like that curved walkway leading to front door...may be border it with flowers that excite !

I'm really fighting for you. I grew up in a house with a porch, and now me & Clo have a house with porch. Can't imagine living in a house without one. It's a room that happens to be outside. So i know/feel how much you desire one. But, to integrate one in your house is going to be a great challenge. I'm just sorry that i don't have no solution for you.
