There are many beautiful grays. You may consider a light gray (with a yellowish warm cast to it to go with the walls) Benjamin Moore paint has nice grays. I personally like mixing styles. If done right.

I don't think painting the entryway walls a totally different color would work as well as keeping the flow. If you want to set the entry apart somewhat, how about just a lighter or darker shade of the honey you now have?
