Is your bed a king? Those new pictures you posted are even bigger (26x32) than the paler pair (25x30). I'm thinking that even with the taller lamps those pictures just may be too big. I found this on your Celadon website, and wondered if one larger picture might work. I know it matches the pillows and some might think too matchy and not enough contrast, but it would be soothing and calm for a bedroom. It's 34x46. Just a thought.

Those are very pretty and the 36" measurement will include the finial, so they are tall, but I think the height of your headboard can handle it. Because they're glass they don't overwhelm the tables or the space, and I love the glass rivet detail. It looks like when they're turned on the shade casts a warm glow that could compliment the ikat. Good find!

I think I like it. My first thought was wondering if the shade shape was OK or if a lamp with a different type shade (taller shade) would work better but there are some very nice things about this lamp. The size is great, the base is very nice and I like the way the bottom of the shade kind of mimics the nailhead on the headboard. What are your thoughts? May I ask where you get your pillow inserts? They're so nice and full.

I got the large inserts and the small rectangular one at Crate and Barrel. The other two I found at West Elm. I like the West Elm ones the best. They are not too full... Kinda slouchy.

I like the lamps. They accomplish the height you want without looking heavy, fit the night stands well, add some glass and shine, and mimic the nail head. Score!

LOL...Wickedwhite, I've had my monogram pillow on my bed for over 25 years! The font is probably a bit more romantic and old school than I would choose now, and my bedroom has certainly evolved quite a bit in that time, but there it sits and I still like it! Use your last initial:)

Lol, we're back to the ikat! Will it go with the monogram pillow and dust ruffle? Can you use the matelasse in a guest bedroom? You are there and can get the best feel for what looks right and what you like the best. We're all looking at different monitors and photos that may not be absolutely accurate in color, so if ivory appeals to you more than white in the room, I say go with your gut!

You are right. I'll start a new post. Still loving the matelasse for the master! I was just trying to find a way to salvage the ikat. I think they could work in the guest room. The headboard is a dark espresso, but seems neutral enough.
