Thank you, LoneStar - such a compliment from a Pro is heartening. We chose everything ourselves, and hoped we'd gotten it "right". Not that it matters - we love it! LOL

Is there no tub now or is it not in the photo? Personally I can't remember the last time I took a bath, but I know some people will not consider living in a home without one.

We removed the huge tub - reasons given above. We added a jetted tub in the hall bath, though!

Here's where the tub was. We love the spacious feel we now have.

Oops. Missed that. I'm sure the drought has a lot of people taking sponge baths! The last time I took a bath was many years ago after I became a home owner. I remembering thinking "Yikes, how much water does this take?" Owner vs. renter mentality!

Beautiful! I'm looking to use similar sconces for my bathroom. Would love to know what they are.

kmcg, we bought the sconces at Home Depot. I don't remember manufacturer or style. We chose them because they reminded us of the sconces in our Houzz inspiration photo (below.) Problem was those sconces were way too expensive. The manufacturer is Hemera, the sconce is the Alexandra Murale, and the finish is Chrome according to the designer of this bathroom. Hope this helps.

Don't think I've seen mirrors surrounded by tile like that. Very nice!

Capeanner, the tile and mirrors are what cemented our design initially! Sadly, I couldn't find a tile I liked within our budget. Once we decided to add the two towers and buy the 'fancier' mirrors, we felt the space didn't need to be tiled. It is still possible to add that touch in the future, if we change our minds. That is one reason we didn't add a backsplash behind the sinks.

joanne, If you keep an eye out they keep tiles moving by marking down the older ones. Those look like glass tiles. Placing them vertically really made a big difference. I bought the last of some glass tiles that picked up the floor color. Had them interspersed with subway shaped tiles with a subtle wave design for a kitchen back splash in FL. I was pleased with the results and the cost wasn't prohibitive. What you have done is in a different league! Wish I could do the same. The kitchen & baths in that house are over 20 years old and look it.

Gorgeous remodel. I like the bench in the shower. Our contractor suggested a knee-height ledge on the wall of the shower knobs, but my husband didn't like the idea. Would have been great for shaving my legs...next time!!! Love how light it is in spite of the dark wood. Taking out the ceiling fixture helped a lot!

Bikertoni, the inside dimensions of the shower are 58" x 38", with the bench taking up 13" of that length
