I ordered the upper cabinet doors. unfinished for glass inserts, from Rawdoors.com . Then purchased the glass from bendheimcabinetglass.com. The doors and the inserts cost $508.00, money well spent.

I used cabinet transformations by Rustoleum. I started with Cabernet and asked the paint department to add a brown tint so they are an in-between an espresso and cabernet. Thank you for the compliment and feed back

Love the transformation! Do you have cathedral ceiling in the kitchen? I noticed the three lights hanging. Is that over the counter or over the middle of kitchen? I have cathedral ceiling and don't know what to do for lighting.

Sorry ytabarrok, I just got this notification. Yes, it is a cathedral. I put a 3 pendant light with a ceiling plate to hide the old hole from the other fixture.

Thank you for the compliment, I really appreciate it it was a lot of work but worth it. It's been over 2 years and I still like it as much as when I did it originally. Total cost was around $3200.00. The cost of the granite was half of it around $1,500. The doors were unfinished to it was really easy to match the paint and didn't have to prepare them first for the paint. The doors were around $500.00 total. The hardware $150.00, paint $225.00, backsplash $450.00 faucet $200.00, lights $125.00. It's been a while so a real breakdown is kind of hard. I have no idea about Ikea's doors. It is really inexpensive to buy them unfinished, with or without the opening for the glass inserts. Thanks again for your kind words.

Thank you. I painted the cabinets then bought the doors unfinished from a company called Raw Doors online, then I painted the doors to match the cabinet. I only replaced the upper cabinet doors added the glass. It was very easy well worth $500.00
