My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

The poles??? they're in the kitchen photos but I can't tell where else they go - I wonder if you need to just paint the poles or wrap them ? Sheetrock? or in a wood or something to finish them off.

Under counter oven. You could do a range (all gas) and then put a separate oven or even one of those ovens with a small oven (I think Sharon has) with a narrow oven for casseroles/pizza and a larger oven under it. It could go on the island and be electric.

LAYOUT -this is basically the layout I'd propose. If you are painting cabinets, I wouldn't do the little appliance garage low like this, just more counter top.

If you absolutely can't move the range, at least this looks much nicer with a nice hood instead of the current one. I think one problem now is that current hood and the detail over the sink are breaking the line of the top of the cabinets. Also notice the angle of the island vs the stove.
