Designer clearly copied this from her grandparents’ house in Linville. I know the original and have always loved it. Warm, personalized space.
I love this idea for an attic space. Solves the I-can’t-make-up-top-bunk issue and also has game room space.
I don't love the business of the look but I like the protected outdoor space.
I like the glass and the wood. Bookcase with deep, irregular shelves - good for pottery and photos. Also intrigued by divided space for primary bedroom. Could address the issue of morning sunlight on one side and evening sunlight on the other.
You know circles and ovals unsettle me so ignore that part of the photo. But I like the idea of a sleeping porch and place to sit outside when it rains.
If I were building a lakehouse, this is what I'd like.
Too busy/cold for me. This feels like stacked legos. Not a fan of the wood color, either.
Normally not first choice to have everything in one space with no segregation but if I have to have it, this rescues my overall impression by great windows, ceiling and...no pendant lighting. :-)
I always love a good screened porch with air flow.
Love this stone and wood combo. Does not need to be bathroom - pretty much anywhere.
Like the doors that close and hide the clutter.
