This looks like quartz to me. I've seen it in showrooms. Way, way cool. Also comes in squares. There's a show room in Denver that has flamed quartz. It's awesome!

The splotches on the stone floor come from "flaming". Stone can also be flamed so it has a more consistent look. This is cool.

Heated floor hoses are plastic now. This is connected to square furnace/water heater on the wall - direct vented outside. Water expansion tank (round) keeps pipes quiet. This also has furnace with vents for heat or ac. You would need that also for humidification if desired.

Gutters are a pain - they get full of pine needles, freeze up and cause ice dams which cause leaks. Copper is BIG BUCKS but nice. Consider electric outlets for heat tape. Maybe ask if part of the roof design can be done so you don't need gutters?
