I am so incredibly grateful and happy that we chose Audrey as our architect for our house remodel. Her plans were so thorough and detailed that other professionals who saw her work said that she went above and beyond. She was clear in her communication and also so patient when I kept changing my mind. Her pricing was transparent and fair. She listened well to everything we wanted in our home. I especially appreciated that she didn’t charge a percentage of materials we purchased, even though she helped us get discounted rates. There is no way I would’ve been able to design all of those bathrooms without her! And I love how each room has its own look and style.

We asked Audrey to add on to our house and reconfigure about half of the existing house. We had a list of desired goals, but weren't sure if all were doable given our space constraints. Not only did Audrey achieve each of them, but she incorporated things we hadn't asked for -- including a laundry room and pantry -- which make a huge positive impact on our daily lives. Audrey is patient, thorough and lovely to work with. We highly recommend her.

Audrey was amazing! She turned around drawings, resources and ideas quickly and with great thought. Our home in Marina del Rey hit a few snags along the way with the city (as with almost all projects in that area!) and she worked with my GC to clear them up within days. We had a few odd shaped rooms that she was able to create solutions and turning them into incredible spaces with function and design.

It was such a pleasure working with Audrey. She not only has a great vision, she really listens to what you want and need from the space and she is very open to a collaborative process. The ADU she designed for us is beautiful. She was able to take our ideas and make them work on a complicated functional level while also making the space fit seamlessly into our existing property. Audrey is efficient and organized and does everything meticulously which made us feel incredible confident undertaking this long anticipated, life changing project. Zero regrets!

If you’re reading this, you’ve found your architect so look no further! We’d give Audrey 500 stars if we could, as she was truly the savior in our home renovation project. Not only did she deliver beautiful plans, she hand-held us through the entire process, and added another (much needed) level of oversight with respect to various trades to ensure things were being done to plan. Audrey was an absolute pleasure to work with and is a consummate professional. She’s super organized and delivers exactly what she says she’ll deliver, and then some!

We took a single story house, stripped it down to "one wall" and the foundation, added a second story, and gutted/remodeled the ADU/Garage. Pretty complex project in terms of designing the existing foundation to accept the second story addition, made significantly more difficult when also having to solve for Santa Monica's often nebulous parcel development rules. I highly recommend Audrey; she communicates well, is a strong problem solver, is very organized, and thinks ahead.

Audrey was the perfect architect for our project. Not only did she present excellent ideas, she did so with an eye to our taste and lifestyle, while keeping budget implications in perspective. I hired Sato Architects for the remodel and update of my home in Culver City. The project included the addition of a master suite and the complete remodel of the kitchen, living and dining rooms. Throughout the process, Audrey was extremely professional, responsive, and helpful. She provided me with two layouts and then, after multiple meetings, merged the ideas I liked the most into a final plan. She guided me through the entire process which included picking out appliances, cabinets, fixtures, and tiles. What made Audrey so special was that she not only listened to my choices but also took the time to thoroughly understand my aesthetic. She has an excellent design sense and made suggestions I would not have otherwise considered. Those choices are among the best features of my remodeled home. I hired a wonderful contractor with whom she regularly works. This made the process enjoyable and fun. I am thrilled with the result and highly recommend her.

My husband and I worked with Sato Architects on a remodel of our home in Redondo Beach. After meeting with us, she provided two wonderful layout options to consider. Once our choice was made we easily moved through construction documents and permitting with the City. Audrey worked with our structural engineer to create an open concept for our small home which has completely changed the way we live in the space and enjoy our backyard. During construction we consulted with Audrey several times on finishes and cabinets. Our remodel is FANTASTIC and we are ready to start our next project with her, a garage conversation to an ADU.
