I highly recommend Bradford & Kent for any renovation projects you are considering. They did an amazing job from start to finish on my interior renovation. As the project progressed, I ended up adding some additional items and they had no problem taking on the extra work. My project manager had an incredible ability to address any concerns that arose and reassure me when something didn’t go exactly as planned. He was extremely organized, efficient, and knowledgeable. I am so grateful to have had his guidance and leadership throughout this inherently stressful process. As a company, Bradford and Kent always stood by their work, and made corrections to all mistakes (which weren’t many, but of course things happen in any renovation) immediately upon discovery. I was very appreciative, as I have heard horror stories of other contractors not maintaining such high standards. My home is now the beautiful place I envisioned and I am so grateful to Bradford and Kent. Some of the work that B&K completed at my home: - Complete kitchen remodel - move laundry room to upstairs (create large space out of a bedroom walk-in closet and part of the bedroom with entry from hallway) - Turn previous 1st floor laundry room into a beautiful and functional mudroom that leads to back deck - remodel foyer from garage entry - refinish and extend hardwood floors throughout the entire main floor - remodel staircase - replace basement ceiling tiles …And many smaller items * I remodeled the exterior of my home the season prior and I can honestly say that I wish I would have used Bradford and Kent for that as well. Unfortunately, I went with a roofing/siding company that specializes in exterior only. I saw a house down the street in my neighborhood have almost identical exterior work done on their home by Bradford and Kent - theirs looks better. My Hardie siding has visible gaps and theirs does not. I wish I would have gone with B&K so I thought it was worth mentioning for anyone looking to do exterior work as well.

We've now used Bradford & Kent twice, once for exterior remodeling, and once for a kitchen remodel. On both occasions, they were outstanding in terms of planning, attention to detail, execution, communication, and follow-up. The entire staff of workers and managers are clearly dedicated to excellence, and they stand behind their work. Thanks to them, we now have the home we had envisioned!

After years of searching for the right people for the job, we ended up with Bradford & Kent and we couldn’t be happier we did. Every aspect of our home remodel project was professionally handled from the initial meetings and architectural drawings that were put together (which were complimentary services!) to the finalization of our plans, working with a design consultant to pick out all of the details, to the actual project itself, we knew we were in the right hands every step of the way. Initially, we worked with Mark and he was a great person to begin our project with. His calm, easy going manner helped us to find direction with our project and get a feel for what things would look like. Mark continued working with us for about 10 months making changes and tweaks along the way as our project evolved. Working with Sarah, the design consultant, was a dream. Sarah was integral in helping me make the best choices when it came to flooring, countertops, backsplashes, tile, cabinetry and more. Bradford & Kent makes the selection process easy since their design studio is where I would meet with Sarah and all of the materials were brought in to me. I did not have to go store to store searching for the perfect tile. What a relief since as a working mom, I don’t have too many free minutes to waste! I was most worried about the selection process, but Sarah was patient and insightful with me. Once our job began on site, we had our project manager, Louie, on the job. Louie ran a tight ship, keeping track of the demo crew, all of the trades, our materials and managing the day to day schedule. I met with Louie frequently to review items, go over our timeline and make decisions. Louie was someone I felt extremely comfortable with managing our project on site. I knew I could trust him and count on him to keep things moving in the right direction and to be honest and fair with us. I was sad to see our project be completed only because I miss my daily chats with Louie. The trades that worked on our project were top notch. From the electricians to the plumbers to the AMAZING carpenters - we had the best of the best. Everyone was professional, meticulous in their craft and extremely friendly. Our final result could not be more spectacular. We ended up with an almost total home remodel including a remodeled and enlarged kitchen + addition, 2 bathroom remodels, primary bedroom and bathroom addition, new windows, hardwood flooring, facelift for our screened in porch, new roof, updated electricity and more. We could not be more pleased with the work done in our home and recommend Bradford & Kent to anyone who asks. You cannot go wrong with them!

We worked with architect Jim Goddard and design assistant Annie Seider. Our contract manager was Mike. They were all very talented people who demonstrated a excellent command of their field and an extraordinary ability to communicate and to work with us. They were patient and kind and walked us through the process of a kitchen/sunroom addition and remodel of three bathrooms. I would love the opportunity to work with them and the entire Bradford and Kent team again.

Our kitchen turned out exactly as I pictured it in my head. The design process was quick and easy and the designer was very responsive. The process of picking out the materials was also easy as the designer was so helpful in narrowing choices and helping me create the look I wanted. Our project manager took care of everything and responded to questions quickly and appropriately. It was a smooth process from start to finish and the quality of work was great.

Prior to choosing Bradford and Kent, we had many informative, but exhausting, consultations to build our addition of a 3rd car garage. When we met with Jim (Bradford and Kent), we felt very comfortable and confident on the level of customer support, communication, and process. Additionally, Jim was very detailed, friendly, and patient. He outlined the full end to end process, provided concrete dates and next steps throughout the project, and answered all our questions in a timely manner. After signing the contract with B&K, we were introduced to our Project Manager, Rick. Rick was absolutely amazing. We like being involved in projects as we want to know the next steps and duration so naturally we had many questions throughout the project for Rick. Rick never once made us feel like we were bothering him. He welcomed all our questions, answered them as soon as he saw them, and guided us throughout the entirely of the project. If there were any concerns, he addressed them immediately. The whole process was near flawless. Bradford and Kent have a very detailed and successful operating model which results in very happy customers. The 3rd car garage is now complete and we could not be any happier with the results. In the near future, we plan on renovating my main floor of my house and we know exactly who to reach out, Bradford and Kent.

Awesome Company. From initial consultation to project completion the staff (Designer, Project Manager, Service Manager,Architect, Engineers and all subcontractors were professional, thorough, respectful, collaborative. Simply put the best. Projects were Family Room, Kitchen and Dining Room, Living Room and Three Bathrooms.

When I called Bradford & Kent, I told them we wanted to completely to change the look of our home to be more updated and modern. From the beginning to the end, they proved their professionalism and competence in being able to handle the size of this job and their ability to deliver an amazing product. We had work done on all 3 floors of the home – main floor complete gut kitchen rehab, remove carpeting and weave in new hardwood with the old hardwood (sand and refinish all), redo all the stairs, put up a stone wall in the dining room; wood paneling on walls going down to the basement, basement bar and flooring; and master shower gut rehab. Greg, our designer, took in our idea of beauty and gave us a truly unique kitchen design with small thoughtful touches that deliver a big impact. It’s the small touches that differentiate B&K from the others. You will end up with a ‘Wow!’ outcome. Our designer team of Greg, Sarah and Annie helped us tremendously in choosing the materials and ensuring that everything was strikingly elegant, as we wished. We love to spend time in our kitchen now and cooking is pure joy. Our construction manager Brian was phenomenal. He was patient, knowledgeable and answered questions so that we always felt informed of not only what was happening, but why it was being handled in that manner. He also ensured that every small concern was addressed and fixed. When our countertop was delayed more than the predicted time, he wove his magic and the company from NC actually drove the countertop up to us in Naperville IL. He ensured that things were up to B&K’s standards and flaws were absolutely unacceptable. With a project this size, mistakes are bound to happen and things invariably go wrong. But they ensured that everything was taken care of and ‘made right’. And unlike some of our other friends who have also undertaken a remodeling project, B&K finished on time, as promised. Their team of trades people were artists in their own domain. Very particular about their work, professional, respectful, courteous and friendly. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. We not only achieved the goals we had set out with, but exceeded our expectations. Recommendations for future clients – know what you want by looking at many pictures and identifying your definition of beauty; look over all the paperwork carefully – this is your project…ensure its accuracy; your home is their workspace so, expect people to be around during working hours; your job is to make their job easier so that they can give you your best final product in a timely manner.

We were so pleased with the exterior remodel Bradford and Kent did of our house. The new front porch looks excellent, and transformed the look of our home. We appreciated everyone we worked with from BK. In particular, our project manager, Mike, was phenomenal throughout the construction process. We did a complete kitchen/bath remodel with Bradford and Kent as well as a new front porch design. The entire staff from beginning to end was a pleasure to work with. Bradford and Kent provided us with a home addition, a remodel of the entire downstairs of our home, patio construction, exterior work, and a new driveway. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. Mark was the architect that we used and he did an amazing job planning out exactly the space we envisioned. The construction phase of the project went smoothly and according to plan. They estimated the project to take 6 months from start to finish and they met that goal almost to the day. We stayed in the home while it was under construction so we were thrilled that it was completed on time. The work done is high quality and is absolutely beautiful. We had a great experience remodeling our primary bathroom with Bradford and Kent. We really enjoyed working with our Designer, Laura. Bradford and Kent was an extreme pleasure to work with. We initially had a master bath remodel with them and were so impressed with the work that we ended up also having them do a second project to redo our kitchen and first floor. Diane has impeccable design taste and great attention to detail. She knows just the right questions to ask and listened to every request we had regarding design. She was also very informative regarding electrical, architecture, and engineering work that would be necessary in order for us to get what we wanted. We used B&K for a total gut of our kitchen. We interviewed several companies before selecting them, and our due diligence proved spot on. Our designer was Greg, he did an awesome job, taking our needs and wants into account, but then adding those special unique touches that make our kitchen really special..even better than we expected! Our project manager, Brian, kept us informed every step of the way and made sure any glitches were taken care of promptly. All the employees and trades were great, and the carpenter, Dave, was tremendous! We are very happy with our new kitchen and recommend B&K to our friends and neighbors and would not hesitate to use them again for any future project.

I had Bradford and Kent in Downers Grove relocate a laundry from the basement to just off the kitchen. They did a great job. The design, the work and the clean-up all were excellent. This is third time that we used them and we would use B&K again and again. Each time, our expectations were exceeded.

Bradford and Kent undertook a huge renovation on our home. From the design process, to selections to the the actual remodeling phase their professionalism was unparalleled. Our general contractor Jeff was amazing, their in house demolition and carpentry teams do great work and all of their subcontractors are top of the line. We recently underwent a renovation of first floor living space and kitchen. We chose BK because our 2nd floor addition was done by them as well, so it was a no brainer since they had all the plans, etc on hand. We had a wonderful experience from the design process with Mark to the actual demo to reno process with Jeff. The entire team that helped was amazing and conscience of our wants and needs. Our new kitchen and living space are so much more open and functional as a whole. The project had some hiccups along the way, but Jeff our project manager and Mark our designer made sure that any concern was addressed in a timely manner. Our kitchen remodel is complete, and we are thrilled with the result! It is truly amazing to see a vision started a year ago with designer Greg Cash come alive. And while I don’t want to sugar coat the challenges of living w/o a kitchen for 3+ months, the B&K team did a wonderful job of keeping us informed about what was happening and what to anticipate. We have done other remodels and built a house from the ground up, and without question, Jeff is the very best project manager we have ever worked with. He was a creative thinker when it came to solving unexpected issues, and he always came in with a positive attitude! Bradford & Kent showed tremendous vision in design and excellent workmanship in the renovation of our kitchen. Our designer (Diane) was superb. My wife had a vision of how she wanted our kitchen (which we combined with the dining room) to look, and Diane made everything come to life while showing real creativity and pulling in the engineer (Pat, also awesome) as needed to ensure structural integrity. Our kitchen looks great. We are so happy with the work and already have Bradford & Kent working on our next project with them - mud room!

After Bradford and Kent completed a complex remodeling project on the first floor of my house, I was so impressed and pleased that several years later I I hired the company to perform a second complex remodeling project on the second floor. Bradford and Kent specializes in kitchen and bathroom remodeling/creation, but can also install new windows and design/construct additions to homes. Bradford and Kent also designs/performs other types of modifications such as finishing a basement space. In addition to the superb, high-quality installation, I was especially impressed with the initial free consultation and preliminary design processes. Bradford and Kent provides free in-home consultations during which measurements are acquired and goals are defined by the customer. This results in a custom-made design, a three-dimensional drawing and a cost estimate/range. I strongly recommend getting the free consultation and initial design/drawing. The design professionals can introduce concepts for optimizing use of space that a typical homeowner has not considered. If the customer decides to move forward to the contract stage, Bradford and Kent’s extensive show room/set of samples and catalogs allow easy selection of cabinetry, fixtures, floor/wall coverings, windows (if modified), countertops, and other design features. The final cost will likely depend on the customer’s selection of various options (e.g., granite vs. some alternative countertop; grade of cabinetry; cherry vs. a less expensive wood; standard or high-design tile, etc.). When comparing cost estimates from two or more potential providers, be certain to get estimates for a comparable design/quality of materials. The completed project includes a warranty. The job superintendent efficiently schedules the work by various individuals.

We had 14 windows installed and Bradford & Kent did a really great job. Our salesperson worked with us to control costs and gave us good ideas on ways to save money. He also suggested some ideas that made a few of our rooms look bigger. The Pella windows are top-notch and B & K's installers did a terrific job. They were efficient and did the job in about a day and a half. Importantly, they cleaned up the debris very thoroughly. We are very happy with the products and the service. Highly recommended.

We almost never write any review. But at this time we decided to warn any potential customers of B&K. Just finished small 11’x7’ bathroom remodeling. When we started entire nightmare in January we were promised just about 4-5 weeks construction time. We were also promised B&K is not going to start demolition until all material will be in our garage. Nothing of that was true. Project last long 16 weeks! Ordered wrong glass for cabinet doors, entrance bathroom door order took 14 weeks and nobody from B&K knew what was going on. Project manager was so upset, that when he took from us cabinet doors with wrong glass, he didn’t properly secured in on his truck and damaged door frames as well. B&K ordered those doors 3 times! Project manager was replaced and B&K continued with their incompetence, sloppiness and constant lying to us until very end of remodeling. Unforced errors in documentation, very unprofessional project management and even owners were not helpful and didn’t want to take honest approach to customer. Just be careful if you looking for remodeling company….

Excellent: price,value, service and support! I had all windows replaced with pella windows. Very professional installation: clean, efficient and quick. Warrenty of the products and services are impressive as it’s more than product suppliers warranty. I would highly recommend to consider for home improvement projects.

We did a project with Bradford and Kent after seeing what an amazing exterior renovation they did for our neighbor. We had new Pella windows, a new front door with sidelights, Hardie Board siding, and a Timbertech deck installed. Chris was very helpful during the planning stages and Louie and Emily made sure the project ran smoothly. They worked quickly and procured materials despite the national shortage. Their crew work long, hard hours especially Conner their carpenter. Would definitely do another project with them.

We bought a house without a dining room but wanted one. A wall needed to be removed and we wanted hardwood floors installed with a total kitchen remodel. We contacted Bradford and Kent and are very happy we did. Greg, our designer gave us a beautiful design and Laura helped us make that design ours. Drew, our project manager, kept a close eye on every aspect of the project and quickly handled our concerns whenever they came up. The workmen were very professional and courteous and obviously experts in their trade. Even the owners came out to check on the progress at times. We are so happy we used Bradford and Kent and would use them again.

Our designer worked with us to bring our vision to reality. We had our kitchen fully remodeled and hardwood floors installed throughout our condo. When the flooring company we had picked went out of business (!) our designer found replacement flooring, which was more expensive, at no extra cost to us. The project manager worked with the trades people to handle the project within the strict rules of our association. They were always professional and a pleasure to work with.

This is the second time we used Bradford and Kent. We were very pleased the first time we used them. They were exceptional the second time we used them for our remodel. Drew, the construction manger was professional, response, and caught small issues before I did. I would bring up small things to Drew and he said he was already tracking the issues and working on getting it resolved. Drew went above and beyond and is true professional. The tradesmen were great and the quality is awesome. Gregg, did an amazing job with the design. Were are very happy with the work they did and would recommend them to family and friends.

We had an overall excellent experience with Bradford and Kent. We undertook a sizable remodeling project - completely new kitchen, fireplace, laundry room, bathroom, and new flooring through the entire first floor and hallway upstairs. We consulted with several builders before deciding to go with Bradford and Kent. We had general thoughts on what we wanted yet needed advice on the best way to execute our ideas. Diane was our designer and she was amazing. She listened to our ideas but was very helpful with fine tuning all of the details. The end result was exactly what we wanted. Our project manager, RIck, was great as well. Considering the size of our project, there were only a few minor hiccups. Rick handled them quickly and efficiently. He was also always responsive with our many questions. And last but not least - even with the unpredictability of 2020 - our project ran on time!! We would highly recommend Bradford and Kent to anyone considering any home projects.

2020 crazy year but still have keep up the home. We talked with Chris about getting new windows and he was awesome. He helped us navigate the huge variety of styles and options. When the windows arrive we were pleased with the installation and appearance. Scott and Brent did a phenomenal job installing and trimming out the windows. We are totally satisfied with the work from B&K staff.

We just had Bradford and Kent install 2 picture windows where there were no windows at all. We had an awesome experience with Chris who came out for the initial consult and Emily who oversaw the entire project. We had used this company in the past for a kitchen renovation project and were very familiar with the process. We had some hiccups this time around but Emily handled everything with ease. She was on top of the last minute changes and handled everything very professionally. She communicated everything immediately and we always felt like she kept us in the loop. We were worried about doing a big project in our home. But with the help of Bradford and Kent, they took the pressure off of us and held our hand throughout the whole process. The project was finished before we expected and they are still working with us post project to help with any small hiccups that may have occurred. Almost 7 years later we finished our 2nd project with them and I would not think to go anywhere else for our home remodel needs!

After interviewing a number of local GC's / Remodelers, we selected Bradford and Kent for our remodeling project. We added a First Floor Master suite to the home we've lived in for the last 30 years. After our first meeting with Jim Goddard, our salesperson, we knew we made a wise choice. He asked good questions and listened to what we hoped to accomplish on the project. He came back to us with great ideas and suggestions and never made us feel pressured. The entire Bradford and Kent Team was excellent. Our experience with Bradford and Kent was wonderful. Our designer Diane was incredibly helpful and creative with numerous suggestions about how to remodel a master and hall bathroom. Our project manager Jeff communicated regularly and answered all of our questions. Our bathrooms are beautiful!

Bradford and Kent remodeled our kitchen, powder room, and much of our first floor living space. They added cabinets and quartz countertops, lighting, flooring, and wainscoting. Their design person, Laura, did an excellent job helping us put our vision on paper and show us new possibilities. The subcontractors they used were very professional and skilled. Bradford and Kent did a great job from start to finish. We work with Jim G. who created our architectural design for the whole exterior as well as a 2nd floor renovation of two new bathroom and three new bedrooms. We did a facelift to the first floor as well. We needed new framing, plumbing and electrical. The design he created was functional, good layout and a great appearance from the outside. From the interior designer to Jake, our project manager, we had a pleasant experience. We highly recommend them as many neighbors in our town are amazed with the transformation of our home. The total project was estimated to take 17 weeks and they finished on time. Great team to work with and what is promised in the beginning was delivered at the end.

I had Bradford and Kent remodel my master bedroom. My house is over 100 years old, which required the electrical, plumbing, and flooring to be moved. These guys are experts and the results were fantastic. Not only was all of the structural work top notch, but the quality of the cabinetry, tile, glass, and finishings exceeded my expectations. Couple of months ago Bradford and Kent completed remodeling of our kitchen. It was gutted completely installing new cabinets, some new ceiling drywall, new quartzite countertops, appliances, electrical work, lighting and hardwood floor finishing. Also provided a warranty of their work. The project planning was done by B&K designer recommending and reviewing layout, dimensions, materials in their in office 3D software making easy to visualize the new kitchen Project manager and construction crew gave us a timeline for completion of work. While we hear about delays in remodeling work, this was a pleasant surprise when the kitchen was finished ahead of planned schedule. Moreover the quality of work was first rate, no repair work was needed. Planning a total kitchen makeover is quite time consuming, so that using K&B which has a complete showroom, designers, project managers saved us a lot of time and effort including daily monitoring of the project. Rob Quiqley, one of the owners, was very accommodating in making some decisions to move the project along. All in all we are quite happy with the quality of work and the new kitchen

My introduction to Bradford and Kent, after calling, was an introduction to Sharon, our designer. Sharon was wonderful. Her suggestions were very helpful. She showed me possibilities for my kitchen, I never considered. She was always available to answer questions. She took us to vendors for help in choosing tile and lighting. Sharon was clear in explaining the processes that would take place and exhibited patience with any indecisiveness. She was personable, friendly and eased my fears with what I thought would be a daunting experience Our construction manager, Jake, exceeded expectations. He embodied leadership, ever-present at each stage. This was my first experience with a remodel and I was expecting a stressful, chaotic situation. I felt neither, mostly due to Jake's presence and leadership. He was very thorough in his explanations and was very efficient in letting us know of any changes and what to expect. He welcomed and answered all questions. Jake was a very calming presence, making himself available whenever needed. The entire process proceeded in an orderly, efficient manner, everyone having his job to do at the scheduled time. The entire project came to a beautiful, satisfying end. Jake did a wonderful job! The tradesmen were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They answered all questions. It was fascinating, watching their skill and expertise as my kitchen came together. I have noticed the Bradford and Kent signs on the lawns in my neighborhood for a long time. I am glad that I called and would recommend Bradford and Kent for anyone's remodeling projects.

Bradford and Kent replaced our deteriorating cedar siding with Hardie board. From beginning to completion, it has been an outstanding experience. Chris in sales provided excellent design ideas and support, the construction crew did a super conscientious and neat job. Dave, our construction manager, was was a delight to work with. Started job when predicted, and completed on schedule. These guys do a superb job - we are extremely happy with all aspects of the experience! Highly recommend!

I have given Bradford & Kent a 5 star review only because there was no room for a 10. I have spent the last 3 years having extensive renovation, upgrading, remodeling and general upkeep on my home performed. It is very hard to turn your home over to strangers to demolish, tear apart and hopefully improve and bring your idea to life. Not only was Bradford & Kent able to realize this dream but excelled in the planning, implementing and finishing of my remodel. Because of all this work on my home, I can give a very honest and accurate review of many differing contractors. Bradford & Kent was way above the level of workmanship, professionalism, knowledge of construction and materials and follow through than any other company I have heard, seen or experienced. I would not turn the importance of a good quality home remodel over to anyone else than Bradford & Kent. Each and every work person in the office and on the site was professional, capable, caring, concerned and accepting of nothing except excellence. I am now an ecstatic homeowner!

We are pleased with the post construction services provided by Richard H. who heads the Service Department at Bradford & Kent. At this point ,we are finished with all of those issues and will only need to contact the service department for any problems that surface within the 5 year warranty period. Richard was very responsive and followed through on all issues As an example, we had a problem with our oven wherein it was heating up the cabinetry around it and not venting properly. Richard analyzed the situation by using a laser temperature gauge to measure the heat around the oven and agreed that it was unacceptable. He had the factory service person come to fix the problem. When the issue was not satisfactorily resolved, he also worked with Grand Appliance (where we purchased the oven) toward a resolution which was determined to be a venting part for the flat installation of the oven, was missing. Once the part arrived, he installed it himself. He supervised what his staff did and ensured that we were satisfied on all issues.

Bradford and Kent replaced 10 windows and 3 storm doors in my home. I chose them not because they were the least expensive but because the work is always superior to any other company or handyman around. The workmanship is exceptional and the work site is left immaculate. Bradford and Kent seems to have a commitment not only to superior work but keeps that old fashion respectful relationship to the client that is so often lacking in businesses today. This process was painless!

This spring I noticed one of the windows had a stress crack in it. Richard promptly addressed it, ordered the window & set up the install. Couldn't recommend them more!! Great company!!

We had the formidable task of researching for the right company to construct a complete re-hab of a kitchen, laundry room and three bathrooms. Our first stop was the seminars offered by Bradford and Kent on a Saturday morning. Their presentation was congenial, organized and professional. We went no further. We worked with Laura on design and found her to be creative and well versed in CAD drawings. This allowed us to visualize and modify on the spot as we discussed ideas. The cabinets we chose are of the highest quality and the fine workmanship of the carpenters made our drawings a beautiful reality. As in any large project there was a slight modification needed during the process. One weekend at an on-site visit we questioned a minor lay-out of the design. Within minutes we received a phone call from one of the owners assuring us it would be taken care of immediately. It was. When the project was completed we were introduced to Richard, the customer service rep. He made sure all the final details were completed to our satisfaction and explained that he would be our contact person if any problems arise in the future. We were also fortunate to meet and work with Laurie, the marketing coordinator. Her enthusiasm for our project was equal to ours. We found that we did not just sign with a company but with a team of people who obviously love what they do and service their clients with the highest degree of professionalism.

I was impressed from my first phone call when I inquired about a basement design project. I was clueless but was quickly educated about the entire process by Sharon O'brien, the designer. She was incredibly professional and informative about the process and our options. The decision was nearly instant that this was the company we were going to choose and the process was entirely streamlined - from our walk through the showroom, to choosing our selections, to the actual start date. Sharon went out of her way to meet us in our home and accommodate our hectic schedules whenever meeting at the showroom. Everything she said was going to happen did and in a timely fashion. Every last detail was attended to - even ones I had no idea were included in our beautiful design. Then, she handed us off to Jon Graunke, our project manager who was amazing, as well! The start date was moved up to start a couple of weeks ahead of schedule, which was exciting news. The crew was super friendly but more skilled than I would believe. Our basement is no longer a storage area, but a beautiful and welcoming space where we now enjoy with our family and friends! Jon really paid attention to detail and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied, and he even made sure each fine detail was addressed! Last point, this was not a simple project - it included a workout room with a mirrored wall and a ballet bar, a guest bedroom, an exquisite bathroom, a stone fireplace, a bar/pub area with a beautiful island/peninsula that seats at least 7 cozy bar stools around it to gather with friends and a beautiful open space where we have placed our pool table and couches. Our home is complete and we guarantee to use Bradford & Kent on all future projects!

Bradford & Kent put an addition on our house in 2001. We were incredibly pleased with the quality of their work and we have remained pleased after 17 years. We wanted to take a wall down between our family room and the kitchen to open up the rooms. We also did a complete kitchen remodel including new cabinets, moving appliances to a different part of the kitchen and some work on our wood floors. We trusted Bradford & Kent because of our past experience. We could not be happier with our new kitchen! It is beautiful and more functional. We were happy with the timeline in which they completed the job as well as with the workers. Everyone on the job was on time, clean and respectful of our home. From the start of the process, Bradford & Kent was honest and determined to work within our budget. Our designer, Darci Tee, was fantastic, She brought our ideas to life and stayed within budget. Her ideas were so helpful when laying out our kitchen design, She designed and island that worked in the space we have and made it look like so custom. She was with us every step of the way, picking out cabinets, countertops, flooring, paint, and so on. After all the planning, B & K's construction crew was professional, clean, and very attentive to details. Our project manager, Jon Graunke, was at the house regularly to oversee the work, B & K finished on time and on budget. We could not be happier with the process, and most importantly, the finished product.

I recently hired Bradford & Kent to replace a 2nd story double-wide, double hung Pella window including all of the associated external and internal pieces – trim, siding, etc. This average project was complicated by the fact that we have a mansard roof where the second story windows intersect and the window was totally dry-rotted due to ice damning over this particular window. Bradford & Kent thoroughly investigated the situation, resolving the underlying issues and replacing the window. Their communication was consistent and clear, their scheduling and punctuality were top-notch and their installers were skilled and cleaned up after themselves after the installation was complete. Overall, they did a great job on this project. I will be using them again in the future.

We hired B&K for our three story addition (incl. extended basement) off the back of our house and could not have been happier with the process, customer service and final result! Our designer/architect, Jim was super creative and listened to our likes/dislikes. He collaborated with us and ultimately, designed the optimal layout for our family. He was extremely generous with his time, and would give us an opinion when we asked, which was appreciated. Our experience with the construction manager was equally as great! Not only was Louie super friendly (even to our dog!) but he was a straight-shooter who got the job done. He addressed all our concerns in a timely manner and really went the extra mile to not only make sure it was done right but that we were happy with the results. All the tradesmen were nice, respectful of us and our property, and clean. The only issues that came up were miscommunications on whether some items were included in the budget, which I think is bound to occur in any of these larger projects. At the end of the day, we worked with the team and B&K always made it right. The owner even visited our home one day to ensure our punchlist of items and any discrepancies were taken care of. He said he wanted a happy customer and it shows in the superior customer service they put forth during the entire project. Overall, it was so nice working with such friendly, respectful, and smart people during each stage of the process. I could not be happier with our addition (layout is perfect, quality is great!) and would highly recommend B&K to anyone looking to take on such a major remodeling project. They even got the job completed on time!

The team from Bradford and Kent did an outstanding job from start to finish remodeling my kitchen. The designer was absolutely a delight to work with, she kept my budget in mind and worked to find me the best products to meet my needs. No pressure, and always very insightful recommendations. We recently used Bradford & Kent to completely gut and remodel our kitchen, laundry room (moved to a new location), master bath, refinish all hardwood floors, new doors and windows and put addition on garage. Our remodel included removing a load bearing wall (no issues), moving water, electric and HVAC among other things. Our designer, Laura, worked with us through many iterations of the plan until finding the one that was perfect for our needs. We did not have any already made decisions on room design, materials, etc. when starting and Laura was able to guide us through and as importantly, keep us from making mistakes in the process to select what is now a beautiful remodel. The work was all done as described. Of course with any job of this size there were some small surprises, but that is to be expected and all were able to be worked through easily and quickly with B&K. The workmanship was professional, workers all respected that we were still living in a half gutted home, were polite and cleaned up all work areas each day. We would recommend B&K, especially to those looking to remodel with a full service company; from idea to design to demolish to rebuild/build the new space.

I recently hired B&K to remodel our utility room and they did an outstanding job. They made sure I was completely satisfied with the job and didn't stop until every last detail had been resolved.

I heard of Bradford & Kent through ads and signs posted throughout our town. One was just completed down the street and I loved what they did, so I took a flyer. Rick Nelson came to the house to talk with us and he was so wonderful, we immediately made an appt to meet with the designer, Mike Snow. Getting together numerous times to design an exterior facelift for our home was a pleasant experience from the beginning. We were very pleased with the outcome of the work, even with some of the bumps in the road along the way, some weather-related. We may not have been the easiest to work with, as I am what my father-in-law liked to call "hawk eye". I definitely tested every tradesman and kept them on their toes throughout the project, and I must say, they were all very pleasant and accommodating with changes we made and adjustments. The project ran a little longer than quoted, but again, weather in late summer/early fall played somewhat of a factor. We have received unending compliments on the house and the beautiful job they did. Seeing as my husband is a "hands-on", do-it-yourselfer, and up until this project has done all our remodeling and addition work himself, this was a first time hiring a company to take control and handle a large project for us. It was very nice to have everyone coordinated and taken care of by someone else, and in a shorter time period than it takes to complete yourself. The company's detail carpenter, Dave, was so detail-oriented and a top-notch worker, along with having a wonderful, easy going personality. We also were very impressed with the electrical work done by their hired guys, Bryan Janetke and his work partner. Joe Pavone went out of his way, and above and beyond our expectations, to ensure that his client was completely satisfied with their work at completion. We commend him for staying true to the reputation of the high quality of his company's name. Thank you for everything! We are very happy with our "new" home.

I interviewed three other contractors before settling on Bradford and Kent. Laura, who was my designer sealed the deal because she really listened to what I wanted. I knew exactly what I wanted-- and Laura was able to create the architectural designs for it. The couple other contractors gave me quotes that were higher than what Laura gave me, however, they did not address my key goals. My original floor plan had the living room as the largest space -- but our family NEVER used this room. It was just a waste of space. So what the new plan was to remove the wall to our dining room-- making the kitchen the largest room-- and then we re-configured the old living room into a dining room with optional small seating. Wow! All I can say is now that the project is done. Everyone who comes to my house comments on how beautiful it is. We have white cabinets with a couple of dark wood accent pieces. We have an island and have so much storage and counter space that I have not even filled up yet. So after the designs were agreed upon—the work began in the beginning of June 2016—and we were finishing up in the middle of August – which was pretty much the plan from the beginning. According to other people I have talked with—this is really is fast for a big kitchen remodel! Overall I’m very happy with the project and love the outcome.

B&K remodeled our exterior front entry including a new porch, portico with columns and front door. They provided a quality design and a high level of craftsmanship. We were very happy with the work that was done as well as the materials B&K suggested and provided.

We recently completed a first floor remodel with Bradford and Kent. The project manager, Louie, is one of the main reasons we would go with them again for additional remodel work. While there are always unforeseen issues that creep up in projects like this, Louie was always on top of things and made sure we kept making progress. The quality of the trades (carpenters, tilers, flooring, etc) were great. We love the final product and will definitely be giving them a call for future work.

We did a kitchen remodel with Bradford and Kent. They had previously done a master bedroom addition. The entire team was great to work with...design, engineering, construction, home office. They hit the schedule and stayed within budget. We are very happy with our kitchen, and everyone who sees it says it should be in a magazine!

My master bath was completely redone down to the studs and it is beautiful. I replaced a shower stall and a bathtub and shower with a large shower and linen cabinet. The vanity was replaced. Medicine cabinets were replaced with mirrors and a “tower” between the mirrors. I chose Bradford & Kent instead of a “one-man” operation to avoid selecting, ordering and storing materials on my own as well as to avoid making costly design mistakes. I enjoyed designing the bathroom with Laura. She helped me coordinate colors and patterns and fixtures and finishes to achieve the look I wanted. Unfortunately, the sinks that were selected were much too high for the height of the vanity and had to be replaced, primarily at my expense, after the work was completed. This was the $1000 mistake I had hoped to avoid. Once construction started, I dealt with Jim Nolan, the construction manager. Jim always kept me informed about what was happening. If he told me a contractor would be at my house at a certain time, the contractor was there. Jim always had time to answer my questions and promptly responded to texts, calls, emails. Three days after rough plumbing was completed, I found my living room ceiling bowed. There had been a leak. This required a section of my living room ceiling to be cut out and fans to dry out everything for a few days. Joe Pavone, one of the B&K owners, stopped by and made sure the repairs were done VERY quickly and also added the painting and staining for the bathroom at no cost to me. This definitely exceeded my expectations. Mirrors were custom made and are beautiful; however, the first time they were installed, the carpenter removed the framing and the mirrors fell and broke. The next time the frames were nailed into the wall and the finish could not be matched. The third time the mirrors were hung on a single picture hanger and they had to be rehung with different hangers so they stayed in place. Although the post-construction work took longer than I expected, Richard Hough, the post-construction manager made sure that everything I wanted done was completed to my satisfaction Although all of the problems with this project were resolved, I am disappointed that they were more extensive than I expected; however, I do love the final product.

The services were great for the sales and initial conversations about our windows. The quality of the product is very good. We are pleased with the timing and completion of the work. While they were working, they were very courteous and cleaned up behind themselves. We are enjoying the benefits of the new windows with reduced electric costs (during the summer). We haven't gone through the winter yet, but we are sure that we will see a reduction of costs for our heating. We would recommend their services and probably will use them again in future re-modeling.

After meeting with a few other design-build firms in the area, we chose Bradford and Kent for our kitchen remodel, and we are very happy with the results. Our designer, Carly Pupillo, was amazing to work with from the very beginning. She has a great personality and has lots of great ideas. Once the construction started, our project manager, Jim Nolan, did a great job of communicating the details of the project and made sure we understood and were satisfied with whatever was happening. During the construction, we had a small issue with our house unrelated to the kitchen project, and the B&K team stepped up and helped us with the process even though that wasn't their responsibility. Our house is more than 20 years old, and the addition recently constructed for us by Bradford and Kent looks like part of the original house both from the inside and the outside. We started with a rough idea of what we wanted, but our Bradford and Kent designer Jim developed a design that included some interesting architectural touches that we could not have envisioned. We are completely satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and materials, and feel that we got a solid value. A neighbor who is in the construction business was impressed with the work, and noted that Bradford and Kent did things the right way and took no shortcuts. The addition was even completed more than two weeks ahead of schedule.

I have had a very negative experience with this contractor. They did a large job for me in Naperville and finished the job without placing our chimney cap on. It was open for 6 months before we discovered it. Pretty major mistake on their part. They also caused some major internal wall damage and would not fix it Their management was pretty rude and insulting to us.

During the early stages of design and drawings, Darci Tee was amazing at helping us pick out everything that has become our dream kitchen and living space. She was a pleasure to work with and always had a smile even when we were indecisive about a few early items!! The design has already precipitated many compliments from friends, and I expect a few more now that we can start entertaining in our new space. Once we began the actual remodel, through today, John Graunke has been everything I hoped for in a Project Manager. He was timely and responsive during all phases of the project. Even when I was being the over-zealous home owner and looking for updates at night or on weekends, I was surprised to get some responses right away, but at worst, heard back from him first thing in the morning. Nothing ever goes perfectly, but the issues we had were so minor I have trouble remembering them. John was a consummate professional whether it was with me or my wife, and drove the project to a "just about" on time completion (give or take a week). To say we are happy with the final product would be an understatement. We are so happy that we chose Bradford and Kent to be the one that updated our home!!

My wife and I in Downers Gove used Bradford and Kent for out Exterior Remodeling project. We decided to add a front door portico to our house as well as replace our double front entry doors and add some window accent pieces. Throughout the whole process, the team at B&K was easy to get ahold of and speak with. We told them what we wanted and the look we were going for and they came up with a computer design and were able to show it to us so we could get a great idea of what we were getting. It made it easy to change things on the fly. They took care of dealing with the village for all the permits needed and were on time with their projected start date, The Workers were clean, generous, and skilled in their craft. Sure they were expensive but in my opinion, you get what you pay for and when you doing work to the exterior of your house, you want it to look great. There project comes with a warrantee and satisfaction guarantee. Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

Bradford & Kent remodeled my mom's entire house about 15 years ago and they did excellent work. It was expensive, but it was high quality. She contacted them again when she needed her basement remodeled after water problems and some racoon issues. After getting some other quotes, she hired Bradford & Kent because she knew it would be finished on time, it would be done well, and she would not have to worry about a thing. And that was all true. The work was done very well, the workers were clean and courteous, and the quality of the work is excellent. I would highly recommend Bradford & Kent if you want the work done right the first time.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Bradford and Kent. I initially hired an inexpensive contractor who left my 2 bedroom condo an empty shell and a construction zone. Bradford and Kent helped me turn my disaster area into a gorgeous home. They completed everything from the electrical work and pluming to creating a dream of a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, two bedrooms, and living room. They were able to overcome numerous obstacles such as putting ceiling fans in a cement ceiling and creating the kitchen I wanted. My kitchen space was quite limited but despite this they were able to design a kitchen with all of my chosen appliances and more cabinet space than I had in much larger kitchens. They are very professional, ethical, and stand behind their work. I would not use anyone other than Bradford and Kent.

Bradford and Kent exceeded our expectations in transforming our little, ordinary ranch home into a beautiful contemporary home. Carrie designed a very unique kitchen as well as two beautiful bathrooms. She and the architects designed a facade that is both organic and has a "wow" factor, as well as the coolest master suite addition. We had Bradford & Kent expand our kitchen, redesign the majority of our first floor and add a fourth bedroom to our home. The entire process was seamless, from the initial design phase all the way through the final days of construction and inspection. During the construction, each trade was punctual, kept a neat workspace with materials and tools, exceptionally nice with our children and dog, and kept to the project schedule. They worked with us to design our floor plan, select appropriate appliances and recommend state of the art materials and hardware. When issues did crop up, they were there to recommend solutions and make sure the project stayed on track. We are particularly pleased with the beautiful finish carpentry (who are employees ensuring a consistent, professional appearance) and have had many compliments from friends and neighbors on both the exterior and interior of our home. As you can imagine, a four month construction process is a long time but the folks at Bradford & Kent kept us informed the entire way and minimized the intrusion. Neighbors initially referred us to Bradford & Kent and now we know why. We highly recommend them and would utilize them again, which is the highest compliment.

We knew when we contracted with Bradford and Kent that they would do an excellent job on our large addition remodel. The reason is because we have had several friends and family who have had done work by them. We have a very old home on which we wanted to put a large rear addition. Our designer, Jim, was knowledgeable, kind and held our hands each step of the process. His design was awesome. It looked like the addition was built when the initial house was done. When Jim handed us off to our construction manager Jon it could not have gone better. Jon told us exactly what the trades would be doing and what days they would be arriving. Each of the trades treated our house like it was their own. The craftsmanship was beyond compare. We could not be happier with our beautiful new addition.

Buyer beware. 6 months after Bradford and Kent was ask to leave our project via a a settlement agreement. that had to be put in place from a our lawyer. We are still funding corners that had been cut on our project. things that were on the prints and we're not inatalled. VERY POOR QUALITY This was one of the worst experiences in our life everything was a fight to get done properly and we still have a failed inspection on there work from our village. Please contact me and I will be happy to share my true stories about my project and the issuea. The company doesn't even want to try to make it tight. The just want to get out of the so called warranty buy making things worse when they come to fix them. We had to hire a lawyer to write up a settlement agreement to sell our warranty back to the company.

Bradford and Kent remodeled our kitchen and we simply couldn’t be more pleased with both the process and the result. There isn’t a single thing we would have done differently; we highly recommend Bradford and Kent. The process began with Bradford and Kent’s designer Brandie McCoy. What distinguished Brandie was that she really listened to what we wanted and then, guided us toward a design and materials that aligned with our desired look and function. The kitchen had been very dark with dated cabinetry; since we had 9 foot ceilings, I had hung some of my basket collection from the ceiling. We wanted a very light and airy design but I was torn about removing the baskets; Brandie suggested a couple of shelves so I could still include some of my favorites. It was the perfect solution. She also came to discuss every drawer or cupboard and what would go into them, resulting in a design that functions exactly as we desired. When we got to the construction phase, Jim Nolan did an outstanding job managing the many people working on the kitchen. All along, the crew was respectful of our home and our privacy. Jim carefully orchestrated the numerous trades at one per day. They were all truly experts and actually were artisans. The cabinetry is absolutely exquisite as are the marble countertops. The experience of the team really surfaced when they navigated a change in range specifications (the model had been upgraded after we had chosen it.) Jim also scheduled and came for every inspection. We will not do another remodeling project without Bradford and Kent and very enthusiastically commend their work, from start to finish

After researching many remodeling companies, I chose Bradford and Kent because of their professionalism and reputation. They did not disappoint. From start to finish their main goal was to provide the best customer satisfaction available and they delivered. After listening to my needs for the project, Brandi, our designer, provided various samples to choose from. More importantly, she provided samples of tiles I did not discuss and actually fell in love with something totally different than what I had originally envisioned. Having a good designer is one aspect, the installers, are also equally important. The installation couldn't of gone better. In 1999, we contracted with Bradford and Kent for a breakfast nook addition. Their work was outstanding. Therefore, in 2014, we, again, contracted Bradford and Kent for the remodeling of our kitchen. Our designer at Bradford and Kent, Brandie McCoy, helped us design our dream kitchen! Our house was built in 1991 with a small kitchen that needed improving. At the start of the project, she gave us several design options, many of which we had never considered. The one we chose really maximized our cabinet space. It also relocated the island which created a more open layout. The new kitchen blends beautifully with the rest of the house. Not only did she understand our vision, she improved it. She is a talented, kind professional. We could not be happier.

I have hired this company for my over 1 million home project. First of all they delay the project by five months, and then they give me a long list of the items that need to be fixed, and since we moved until today already half year, still a lot things have never been fixed, such as my house fan does not work at winter time, but they told me they can not find the problem and let my self to find professional people to check it at my cost, my west wall leaking water problem, my mast shower door can not open very well...... the worse problem is my front door and back yard patio blue stone step, they all crack and falling parts after two months of the installation, I can not use my front door until today, and I was worried people will getting hunts by falling blue stone step everyday, even my ankle was injured already by the back yard falling blue stone step and they never give me the answer when they will fix it, so many things still waiting to fix, they are really slow to fix the problem once you paid them. anyway all I want to say is: my nightmare was started when I hired this company. I am so regret to hired them , they are totally not qualify for my project at all. as now I think we may need into a legal issue to resolve all the problem, I do not know when my nightmare can be end!

We were very pleased with his ideas and drawings. We came to an agreeable price and hired them. Bradford and Kent has done projects for several of our friends so they were the only remodeling contractor we called to finish our basement. Things went exactly how we expected them to go. Our initial meeting with our designer was great. I had a stack of magazines and photo ideas that they were happy to look through. They even complimented me on my thoroughness and told me that all of these ideas allowed them to get a better understanding of my project needs. Our goal for the basement remodel was to add a complete third floor to our house. It had to function as a play area for the kids, an entertainment area for parties (which included a kitchen), and a media area for movies and games. We worked really hard on the design because l had a set vision. My designer never complained about my questions or hurried me. The building process was so much easier than expected. My construction manager kept us informed as to what would be happening. The guys that actually did the work could not have been nicer or more skilled. They treated our house like it was their own. We finished on schedule and on budget. Our basement looks exactly like the one we had envisioned. It was even photographed and used in a magazine.

We were really pleased with our kitchen designer, Laura. Her ideas were innovative and she was respectful of our budget. We never felt pressure to spend more money which was nice. Jim Nolan our construction manager was great. It was tricky because we were out of town a lot while our new kitchen was being constructed, but Jim kept in close contact. We will use Bradford and Kent if we need more remodeling.

We loved our Bradford and Kent experience from start to finish. Maury and Mandy designed three very different floor plans for our basement that we would never have thought of on our own. All three were fabulous. It was hard to pick just one. Rick was our superintendent that oversaw the construction of our project. He was great. We even received advice from the owners of the company on a few changes we wanted to make during construction. They made us feel that our business was valued which was very important to us.
