Brother & Brother Builders shattered every negative stereotype I’ve ever heard about contractors. Reem met with me within a day of my inquiry and was happy to take on my project even though it was a smaller remodel, a kitchen and primary bath. From the very beginning, communication was outstanding. Reem never missed a phone call or text and often responded within minutes. He was patient, attentive, and genuinely invested throughout the entire project. Every member of his team was stellar, from demolition to installation to fabrication. They consistently did exactly what they said they would do. I was especially impressed with how closely they stayed on schedule. We recently had Brother & Brother complete a remodel of our master bathroom. We chose Brother & Brother after receiving 8 proposals from various builders. The Brother & Brother quote was competitive and fair. We chose Brother & Brother for a couple reasons: 1) The reviews on Yelp were excellent 2) Zion was very genuine, sincere and knowledgeable Now that the work has been completed, I can say that the end product is excellent---beyond our expectations. Zion and his team were very patient with us during the design phase. The designers we worked with were knowledgeable and walked us through the entire process, meeting us at the various suppliers and providing us options that fit our design preferences and budget. Since our bathroom had had a water leak, the team first had to do a demolition of the affected areas. This was done quickly and efficiently. New floor boards and dry wall were placed. The tile work that Daniel completed was nothing short of excellent. Daniel meticulously matched the veins in the wall tiles--which took extra time--but the end result was terrific. Throughout the project, communication through WhatsApp was efficient. Zion was always responsive, typically responding in minutes. Each team member who worked on the project was respectful and professional. The project was completed on time and on budget. A few "extras" such as a bench in the shower were thrown in for no extra charge. In summary, the end result was exceptional and the team excellent. Being an architect, timeliness of communication and quality of craftsmanship was of paramount importance, both of which, Daniel delivered on. All inspections were scheduled and conducted without any impact to our wfh schedule. After getting 5 quotes for contractors to complete some renovations to our newly purchased home, we went with Brother & Brother because they had the best combination of knowledge, professionalism, honesty and cost. Their costs came in around the middle range of all the quotes, but they were the best in terms of quality and cost. I am so glad we went with them because the entire process went very smoothly and everything looks fantastic. Reem promised from the beginning that he would manage the entire project and all communication, and make sure that we would be able to move in by our deadline (in 2 months). He kept his word, and his team worked hard to ensure we were able to move in as promised. We did a full kitchen remodel, fireplace renovation, removed 2 closet popcorn ceilings, refinished hardwood floors, cabinet installation in laundry room and hallway, added recessed lighting, and old bar removal/ vanity installation. Although there were a few small issues that came up during the course of the work, Reem always let us know right away, was completely transparent about costs and benefits, and came to us with options for possible solutions. They also helped with purchasing materials that were in our budget and matched the aesthetic we liked. Elinor, the interior designer, made our vision for the kitchen a reality based on a few pinterest posts and conversations. I recently contracted with Brothers and Brothers Builders to complete renovations on two bathrooms and expansion of the master bedroom walk in closet. This was my second remodeling project having completed a home rebuild a while ago, so I have prior experience working with contractors. Working with Brother and Brother Builders was just a great experience and the finished work is outstanding. Our Project Manager was Daniel Perez who did an excellent job communicating with us on a regular basis, was immediately accessible by text, staying on top of the project, and fulfilling our visions. He is very knowledge and made several suggestions along the way that really enhanced our design. He has a “can do” attitude. Even into the project I would ask him to do little extras and he always accommodated us with a great smile. Daniel even noticed finished items he did not like and had his crew return to redo the work. He was a delight to work with. The on-site managers, Nick and Oner, were also helpful, professional, and very accommodating. In fact, the whole construction crew was great. The project was completed as per the time line and within the contracted amount, no surprises. With regards to the finished product, we could not be happier. Brother and Brother Builders really provide quality work, attention to detail, customer service, stress less remodeling, all in a timely manner. Had the pleasure of working with Miri (project manager) and Zion (owner) for this project, both of whom I highly recommend working with. My project with them was a 800sqft garage conversion ADU, which turned out beautifully as shown in the pictures below. Miri was a very pleasant and responsible PM, very easy to talk to and always on top of scheduling. She would frequently stop by the site to make sure work was going as expected, and would brief me on things such as what work needed to be done next and what needed to be bought. For owners that are doing this for the first time, she is the kind of PM you'd want. I also have the utmost respect for Zion, who was the reason I decided to go with B&B in the first place. He was easygoing, an efficient PM that kept work on track, and overall an extremely dependable individual you'd want to entrust your project to. Working with Miri and Zion felt like working with friends and that's exactly what you want with a construction project spanning months. A heartfelt thank you to both of them and all the workers at Brother & Brother for a job well done on my ADU.

There was good communication among all members of the team, especially with Daniel, our project manager. When we had issues, he went above and beyond to get them resolved, weather it was product resourcing or dealing with unexpected issues. We had a good idea of how our final project would look like because we had 3D drawings from their designer who, also assisted us in procuring all materials prior to the start of the project. We were very happy with the quality of the workmanship, especially because the previous contractor had done such a poor job on our bathrooms. The quality standards of the B&B team are superior. As far as timeliness, our job was delayed because of product delays but would otherwise have been completed on time. We are absolutely happy with our bathrooms and with the job that B&B performed.

Kitchen Heaven is how I describe our kitchen/living room remodel. Yuval Abutbul was the project manager, and he was phenomenal. He was always quick to respond to emails and diligent to address all issues that arose in the process of such an extensive remodel in an older home. We pushed two feet into the garage and took out the wall dividing the kitchen and living room to create a spacious and open floor plan. The crew headed by Miguel Rodriguez was hardworking and exceptional in all work completed. In the end, they had created a beautiful masterpiece, and everything was finished within the projected time. We would not hesitate to recommend Yuval and Brother and Brother Builders. In addition to the kitchen, they had completed a superb bathroom remodel earlier in the year. We look forward to using them again when we remodel the master bathroom.

Brother and Brother and Danial Perz, our project manager, were recommended to us by friends who had their own remodeling done. We have been thrilled with the attention and care they have put into their work. With good communication and guidance from the team our project went surprisingly fast and finished up in about 4 months. We did a major remodel of a 40-year-old house which had minimal previous work. Kitchen, 3 bathrooms, balcony, electrical, and flooring were all striped and redone. Danial connected us with our designer Nir Yona who helped us with the design of kitchen and bathrooms. Using our preferences to inspire the designs he suggested appropriate suppliers and gave us a nice shopping list for all the finishing touches. For what work Danial’s crew did not do he recommended company’s he had confidence in and suggested timing for the work to move things along smoothly. This included windows, HVAC, and the glass shower doors. We are having them work on my parents house next.

Daniel was always available, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. He always made time to address our needs.

My Project Manager was Daniel Perez from Brother & Brother Builder(BBB). He was great at communicating and no bad surprises. He was really easy to talk to and worked with. All my questions and concerns where answered. I was able to totally trust Daniel with Brother and Brother Builder(BBB) through out the entire project. The quality of the work was super. He had taken care of everything, from permits to inspections and also did a final walk through to make sure the quality of work performed by the foreman was done to BBB expectation. I am glad they also worked with me on my timeline. Daniel was super patient with me when I can't have them over to work since I also worked from home and there are days when I need quiet times. We want to thank Brother & Brother Builders for all the hard work that they did to our recently purchased house AND completely transformed the outdated interior to the one we are falling in love with. Daniel and his team, led by Byron, had been extremely patient understanding what we want and listening to what we have to say. They worked super hard to bring our dream to reality. We just finished up a major bathroom construction / remodel job with Brother & Brother last month. We basically took an unfinished basement room -- think of raw floorboards and furnace ducts -- and turned it into a beautiful new bathroom (including wet room, heated floors, glass wall, etc.) and laundry area. I'm really happy with how the project turned out -- wanted to share some feedback on my experience. 1. Having a good PM is important for residential remodels. Nevo was our project manager from start to finish. He basically acts like the homeowner's advocate with the builders, making sure the big-picture design is kept in mind, checking details on workmanship, solving problems and organizing all the work. Nevo was awesome, and I communicated almost daily with him for 2.5 months. We went out of his way to buy small items from his own pocket to keep the job moving when needed, and helped us pick really nice finishes for our bathroom. We were out of town for 3 weeks during demolition, and he kept things moving along. He also helped us navigate a really complex HVAC installation -- something I don't think we could have done without him advocating with the HVAC crew and explaining what we needed. 2. They came in exactly on budget. One of the reasons I choose B&B was because at our first meeting, Nevo explained they take budgeting and estimation seriously -- they give a number, and stick to it later on. The schedule of payments was clear and organized, and they even refunded money back to me when I covered costs they originally planned to pay for. 3. They are high on the quality ladder -- although not the cheapest bid. We live in an expensive area and wanted to lean in on quality rather than low cost for our bathroom remodel to maximize resale value later on. Our bathroom is amazing, with excellent craftsmanship and 5-star hotel finishes (see the photos!). They are a good choice if you're looking for a higher-end remodel, and want everything permitted and done to high standards. 4. Having in-house designer helps get a well-designed space. At the project beginning, Nevo teamed us up with their architect, who went through 2-3 drafts with us before we settled on a layout and proportions. If you're someone who hasn't done a lot of room design, this makes a huge difference being able to draw on their expertise to get a room that makes architectural sense. 5. They will give you good advice about finished materials -- but be prepared to buy all the finished materials yourself, and store them on site, before the job begins. This is common practice, but was a complication I wasn't thinking about when we got started. It's a lot of buying, shipping, and storing sinks, doors, tub, fixtures, tile and more. Just make sure you've got room someplace for all this stuff, as not everyone has an empty garage like we did. Overall, I would definitely hire Brother & Brother again. I feel like we got great value from our project with them.

We recently moved into a new house and we used Brother and Brother to completely remodel 3 of our bathrooms and are very happy with the results. From our initial meeting, Anton, our project manager made us feel very comfortable with the process. We just had a baby and had our hands full so needed to work with someone reliable, trustworthy and someone we didn’t have to “manage”. Anton and Brother and Brother were just that. With any construction project, there’ll be minor inconveniences with delayed materials, inspections etc., but the Brother and Brother team went above and beyond to fix and resolve any issues and to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied with the results. Additionally, I am quite detail oriented and little things like a faucet being ever so slightly off center bother me no end and the quality of work in my bathrooms is excellent. I am so happy with how the bathrooms turned out and in fact we hope to continue to work with them for an upcoming larger construction project in our home.

We had Zion, Carlos and the entire team of Brothers and Brothers just finish an entire house remodel of a tired 1955 house. My wife has a good eye and a strong spirit and we knew many of the things that we wanted. Our expertise stopped on our color scheme and layout of the house. That is where the team took our house to another level. Put the ceiling beams above the ceiling. remove the ceiling above the stairway and create 20 ft ceilings. I used Brothers & Brothers Builders for a remodel of two bathrooms. The bathrooms were original from 1969, when the home was built. I wanted a company that helped with the design process and complete remodel from start to finish. Anton, was very professional and helpful through the whole process. He took care of the permits and scheduled the job when I was ready. He assigned one of their finest designers, Keri, to help us with the layout, materials and style. Keri, assisted us at several suppliers with picking out tile, vanities, lighting and all hardware and accessories. This made things very easy for us. The workers did an excellent job with the project. They took appropriate steps to keep the work area clean and made sure things were installed the way I wanted it. Nick, the project manager stopped by a few times a week to check on the progress and made sure I was good with everything. The whole team was very responsive to answering my calls when I had a question. We are very happy with how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend using Brothers & Brothers Builders for any remodel.

We recently had our bathroom renovated by Brother + Brother Builders, and we are so glad that we did as we are very happy with their work! Our bathroom renovation story was just like one of those terrible stories you hear where the homeowners got really screwed by the contractors. I am not going to lie, it is partially our fault. We had a contractor offered us a really good deal for the modern bathroom that we wanted and I almost couldn’t believe the cost we agreed upon and the 2 weeks timeline that they had promised. Long story short, we ended up firing the contractor, and was left with a demolished bathroom with no running water and no shower during the pandemic! The worst part is, we only had 1 bathroom in our small home. Thank goodness they left the toilet intact, or we would’ve been totally screwed! A month or so later, we started the ‘researching for contractors’ process again! We consulted with Brother and Brother last and really glad we hired them for our project. Daniel, our project manager, was thorough and honest. He made sure that everything we wanted was on the contract. He went through all the paper work with us and explained the cancellation policy, showed proof of insurance and bond, etc. These are very important details to know when hiring a contractor, and we really appreciate that. We had a wonderful opportunity to have Estuarto as our foreman and his crew. They are very nice, respectful, funny, reliable and absolutely knows how to do the job! Estuart and his crew showed up on time, worked 8-12 hours a day and even worked on the weekends to meet our 3 weeks deadline! In addition, these guys knows how to communicate! They tell us when or if they are coming late, they constantly tell us what’s going on, what’s been done, what’s happening next, they gave us suggestions, asked questions and most importantly they made sure we are happy every step of the way. Our experience with Brother + Brother is simply fantastic! I will not hesitate to hire them again for our next home project. Thank you guys so much for the wonderful work you have done for us! We hired Brother & Brother for a complete master bathroom remodeling. The project manager, Anton, understood our needs well and quickly came back with the detailed work order and quote. He was very knowledgeable of every aspect of remodeling and able to suggest a number of solutions we had not even thought about. The interior designer, Rina, created the 3D design model of how it was going to look like, free of charge, prior to starting the project. As you can see from the pictures, it was virtually perfect and helped us, and the workers, visualize each process. The field manager, Nick, was very friendly and attentive all the way through and always listened and responded to our concerns and comments every time. All in all, we are very satisfied with the work they have done and the new bathroom itself.

I can't say enough about our experience working with Brother and Brother Builders. I enjoyed picking out our own finishes from flooring, counter tops, tiles, etc. They also have an amazing group of people working for them! Anton was always on top of everything and easy to reach if I had any questions. I truly trusted Jorge, and he could always be counted on to look at all the details and make sure the final product was perfect! This was a full house remodel which we have never done before and they made it easy. They have awesome designers to help with shopping also, which was extremely helpful to make sure I was choosing the right products and especially the right paint color since I am not good at it! We hired Brother & Brother to install a shower head for us. Every interaction was professional and friendly. We didn’t know what to expect, but they guided us through the process and provided us with options at each step of the way. We couldn’t be happier with the service they provided or the timeliness with which they completed our project

A2Z worked to create my vision. They gutted the bathroom and completely renovated everything, enlarging the shower, replacing the bathtub with a Japanese soaking tub, installing new cabinets and making a cement countertop with sink basins (from a custom mold that they built). They helped me understand the timeline right from our first meeting letting me know what I needed to order and when and what they would be responsible for. I chose a fancy Moroccan caustic role for the floors and they did an expert job of mimicking the complex pattern I found online that used 4 different variations on a tile. They also cut the tile so well that the transitions and corners are flawless and without gaps. They installed all new glass panels for the shower and found me a very inexpensive shower tile to offset the other tile cost. The new shower has a perfect gradient for draining as well and their recommendations on lighting, paint and grout colors were excellent. I really appreciate that they finished the project very fast and sometimes came on weekends (when there was a delay on the caustic tile shipment). They were always easy to reach at any time and patient with my questions. I will hire them again for future remodels and I highly recommend the company

Daniel and his team (Roi, Fernando brothers) worked on my summer project. The scope of work involves full master bathroom remodel, stairway modifications, fireplace facade. Daniel's crew was on time to finish my project (5 weeks) and his communication was very responsive. I really appreciated the team always checking back with me on how I prefer if there are options or anything that is not clear to them (e.g. tile patterns, hanging height, etc.). The end result is great and we have enjoyed all the improvements the crew has accomplished for us.

Our project manager, Dror Postiner was a man of his word. We got everything we asked for and the finish is amazing.

The level of communication between us our project manager was very good, perhaps one of our best experiences in fact. The reliability of the professional crew was equally good. We could rely on them to do what they say and when they say they will do it. Again, come on, this is the best you could hope for in a contractor. Our remodel was begun, and the pandemic hit. Of course all work stopped for awhile, until we could get inspectors to show up to allow the project to continue. To tell you the truth at one point I feared if the contractor would survive. They did, they finished up very rapidly when allowed. And I would some up the work they performed as High Quality.

We completed a full master bathroom plus master closet remodel with Brother & Brother Builders in March 2020. Ido, the project manager, and the crew, Ricardo and Ismael, performed excellent work at transforming our bathroom from an awkward and dated 1960s layout to a modern, beautiful masterpiece. Selection Process: We interviewed eight contractors for our master bathroom remodel. We chose Brother & Brother Builders for a variety of reasons. Ido, the project manager, spent a reasonable amount of time with us to understand the scope of the project, including asking questions and offering new insights to challenges. He provided us with a quote of the project cost before even leaving our house. The written quote included an appropriate level of detail about what the project would entail. The price seemed reasonable compared to the other quotes we had received. We felt comfortable talking with Ido. He was not overly pushy to close the sale. Brother & Brother followed up on multiple occasions regarding our interest in pursuing the work further. Before/Design Process: This is our first home and our first major remodel. We were, understandably, nervous. Brother & Brother provided design service through one of their project managers, Roi. Roi provided some valuable suggestions to the design process when he came to our home. He provided nice 3-D images of what our remodeled space might look like. As we were still unsure as to colors/styles/etc., the images gave us a good idea of what the finished layout would be, if not much about how it would actually look when it was done. In retrospect, we would have benefited from hiring an interior designer to help us walk through the process of style/color/tile selection. We spent a considerable amount of time trying to decide colors and styles. Hiring a trained designer would have saved time and stress overall. Construction: The renovation, from start to finish, was seven weeks, not including installation of the shower glass enclosure. The last two weeks of the renovation were during the first two weeks of the COVID-19 shelter in place restrictions. The initial timeline was 5-6 weeks. With consideration of the COVID epidemic, we were very pleased that the project was completed so close to the initial timeline. We communicated with Ido nearly every day via Whats App. He came to the house only a few times during the process -- mainly during inspections or to collect payment -- but, he was available via Whats App at any time. Ido provided valuable help finding us a vanity and countertop through his contacts. He provided some excellent suggestions at going with a more streamlined look that we are glad for now. He also provided encouragement and pushed us toward making decisions in a timely manner, all of which was needed and appreciated. We enjoyed working with him throughout the whole process. Ricardo and Ismael, the on-site crew, were wonderful to work with. Every day, they cleaned up the bathroom/bedroom work area, as well as their work areas on the side of the house. There was very little extra to clean up when the renovation was complete. They were extremely respectful in their interactions with our family, as well as being in our home every day. Ricardo, the lead contractor, checked in with us every step of the way to confirm what we wanted and needed. Ricardo had a great attitude throughout the entire process -- positive and willing to make changes or go above and beyond. At one point, he realized that we might need to order more tile for the shower wall, which would have been challenging regardless of the global pandemic, but even more challenging with it. He managed to find enough pieces in the remnant tile to complete the entire shower and no one would be the wiser looking at it -- a puzzle masterpiece. Completion: We are extremely happy with the finished product! We feel that the overall quality of the work is excellent. We highly recommend Brother & Brother Builders and would hire them again.

We bought our house in 1986. It was built in 1942 and the kitchen appeared to have been updated in the 70’s, as it contained a bright orange counter, brown appliances and dark brown cabinets, an avocado sink, autumn harvest wallpaper and oxblood red linoleum which partially extended into the living room to the front door. Over the years I hated our kitchen, but the thought of remodeling it was overwhelming. My daughter referred to it as “the kichen that time forgot”. We replaced appliances as they broke down and kept things clean, but the linoleum began to peel in high stress areas. With the kids out of the house going on several years, I finally decided it was time. I made a list and began searching for contractors. My 4th interview was with Dor Ashkar of Brother and Brother Builders. He was friendly, organized and he followed through after our meeting by promptly sending me a written estimate. The estimate and timeline became the contract and the amount never changed. Dor did caution me that the city might require an electrical upgrade, as my panel was very out of date and inadequate. I was concerned that Brother and Brother’s main office was in the south bay and we would be geographically challenged, but that was never an issue. Some of the contractors I interviewed wanted me to knock out the wall between my living room or remove the arched doorways between kitchen and living room, kitchen and dining room. I was reluctant to do so as my house has few architectural details and these gave the house some charm. The other thing I liked was my nursery window, the window that looked out on the front door, and the peninsula. The peninsula served as a mini dining area, business center, and catch all. As we moved forward, I discovered that we were not going to be able to keep appliances in their same locations. City codes require a certain amount of counter space on both sides of the stovetop and the stovetop cannot be at the window. It didn’t seem possible that we could retain the side window and the peninsula, and I tried to decide which thing I could live without. Dor, the project manager was able to come up with a design that allowed me to keep both. It was hard to believe, but it worked! I got a beautiful stainless steel chimney oven fan with an outlet to the outside, a spice drawer with 3 shelves, a blind corner cabinet to utilize space next to the oven that would otherwise be inaccessible, and 2 huge double decker lazy susans in 2 corners. I was amazed that all of my pots and pans and lids were able to fit on one lazy susan. They had previously been in one very large cabinet as well as hanging on the wall. I was worried that I would be begging workers to come to work on my kitchen and to finish what they started, but that was never a problem. The subcontractors that Brother and Brother used were very dependable, trustworthy, and adaptable. Marcello and his team were outstanding. They tried to do their work without inconveniencing me. I was completely comfortable with them working in my house when I was not at home. They were tidy, polite, and considerate. I had a lot of confidence in them. Dor and his associate, Jacob touched base on a regular basis by phone and in person. They were both accessible and responsive to my questions and emails. When I told Dor that I dreaded running from store to store to look for flooring, countertops, back splashes, cabinets, and windows, he had Jacob go with me to their recommended cabinet maker; the other providers came to my house. No running around and agonizing over choices! Dor also brought in a highly-skilled person to cut and install the quartz countertop, as this is a very specialized skill…like cutting diamonds! The demo started on 1/8 and by early March we were done. The remodel included: •Replacing flooring in the kitchen, dining room, living room, and hallway •Replacing the kitchen windows •Replacing the kitchen door with a fire door with self-closing mechanism •Rerouting gas lines in the kitchen and installing GFCI outlets •Recessing the refrigerator several inches into the garage to make room for cabinets and dishwasher •Replacing 2 windows in the kitchen •Installing recessed lighting and pendant lights in the kitchen •Installing new lights in the dining room •Installing a tankless water heater •Hanging cabinets and installing knobs and pulls •Painting walls, ceiling, and baseboards •Installing appliances •Installing oven fan with an outlet to the outside •Installing new sink and garbage disposal Dor had warned me that the city inspector might require updates to my electrical panel, and that is in fact what happened. I elected to get a new main panel over a subpanel; it was more expensive, but seemed to be a better long-term solution. Dor and Brother and Brother pulled in a highly skilled electrician to come by to give me my options and estimates. The 3 electricians were able to complete and test the work in a single day, and with that we were able to get approval from the city inspector. Good luck with your remodel. We are an older couple who after many years decided to downsize from a large home into something significantly smaller. We found a home in the perfect location, but in need of total renovation. We were not sure if we could handle the daunting task of selling, packing, remodeling all at the same time. We had heard lots of tales of the emotional, physical and financial woes it would entail. We knew the most important decision was picking the right contractor. After interviewing a number of candidates, we chose Brother and Brother Builders. We told Reem (Ray) what we envisioned, our need for good communication and a job done on time and on budget. Reem delivered. He always answered our calls, made sure he understood our vision, stuck to the budget, and while we had some delivery issues mostly stayed on time. At one point when we unable to visit a tile and quartz showroom Reem brought them to us. He had a mobile shop come to the site. We picked beautiful tiles for both bathrooms and kitchen. Not everything went perfectly, but overall I know we picked the right contractor. We love our new home and have gotten many comments on how wonderfully it turned out. We would definitely use Reem and Byron from Bother and Brother again.

Raz and his crew at Brother and Brother exceeded our expectations. They got the job done within the stated timeline which was key. The price was the best quoted and the quality of the finished product is excellent! It was easy to communicate via text or call, what we wanted and expected. If we had any questions on materials or any changes to be made, they were quick to respond at any time, day or night. The whole crew was polite and easy to work with. Being that the job was the kids’ bathroom remodel, they kept the worksite clean everyday after they were done. They adjusted the mirror to accommodate the faucet and gave suggestions to the paint and glass tile niche when we were unsure. The project was extremely competitively priced for the scope of work required and the design team had some great ideas for enhancing the project which made my mother very happy. We had a family event right in the middle of our bathroom remodel and backyard deck replacement and the crew at Brother and Brother were very understanding and sympathetic to our situation. They went out of their way to make the remainder of the project as smooth and easy as possible and even finished within the original time frame despite the hold up on my end. Brother and Brother Builders completed a major home remodel for us on November 14, 2019. They remodeled our kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, home office and hallways. The contractor, Dor Ashkar, said the work would take 10 weeks and work was completed in 9 weeks. The price for the work stayed within our initial budget. The photos, particularly of our kitchen, speak for themselves. We love the look and usefulness of our remodel. The kitchen cabinets are beautiful and practical. Our granite countertop is gorgeous. The foreman, Raul, was very capable and a very good problem solver. If you use Brother and Brother, I highly recommend having Raul as the foreman, All the workers were polite and easy to have in the house. Dor Ashkar kept in contact with us throughout the project. All in all, we recommend Brother and Brother Builders.

Project: Full kitchen remodel, full 2 bathroom remodels, full rewiring (smart home) In short: full home remodel :-) We choose Brother n Brother after interviewing 10+ contractors as we found them very detailed oriented and upfront on various details during the first appointment itself. Ido was our original project manager and later Eitan joined the hands too and both of them were available throughout the project. Since we heard a lot of negative feedback about general contractors in Bay Area, we were a bit cautious to begin with and so started with full kitchen remodel project only. However Ido and Eitan did such a superb kickstart, we were impressed even before the actual work began but we still waited for a couple of weeks after kitchen work started and after seeing their professional work, caring attitude and attention to details, we end-up adding full remodel of both the bathrooms and later full electric project also (full rewiring with all the smart switches and outlets, adding recessed lights and ring cameras etc.). This was for recently purchased home originally built in 1960 and was not in superb condition. Brother n Brother made this home look like a brand new one. We did go through few hoops here n there, mostly because of delays in inspection or a couple of surprises due to very old flooring, plumbing line etc. Ido and Eitan discussed / provided various options for all such issues, and resolved tem in a timely manner and in a very professional way while staying on the budget. Any/all minor issues were taken care without even charging extra, even if they had to put more efforts / labor to resolve that. Both Ido and Eitan provided various help / consultancy in choosing the right design and also helped in buying all the materials (tiles, cabinets netc.) and picked them as well, this was all so hassle free experience. Overall they have provided such an amazing service throughout this period, they have become a close friend more than the project managers. Thanks you very much Brother & Brother for all your great work to remodel my home. We simply love living in our new home, feels so much like a brand new home.

I am supremely happy with my kitchen, I wish I had more money to do the master bathroom, as I originally intended, but that will have to wait. Great personality, tons of creative ideas, leads you through the process of cost and quality tradeoffs every step of the way. You quickly realize you didn't sign a contract but entered a partnership whose main goal is to make your home beautifull at most cost effective way. Good network of suppliers with some hefty savings for you when you purchase highest quality finishing materials. Ariel communicates promptly and timely. At kick off, he introduced WhatsApp group chat for him, my wife and I as one shop stop for most of daily communication, including posting pictures with updates, critical decisions or just hashing out ideas. I travel a lot for business internationally, so it was very convenient way to stay in touch at all times. The reliability of the project manager & crew was second to none. Our dream team led by Arial, included Auner the foreman, and some of the key folks like Jesus and Edgard. Real professionals, easy to communicate, great attitude. We had some changes along the way and for these guys, nothing was impossible, only thing that mattered was that you are a happy camper. This is not our first reno, so we can tell the difference. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of having a crew with a right attitude. This was a sizable project which run over couple of moths, with multiple permits involved, and few change orders from our side along the way. Looking back, it is always easy to say how we could have done tings faster, but in retrospect, we are very happy on the outcome. The overall quality of the work completed was fantastic. High quality and attention to details. Noting is done until it is to your full satisfaction. Five stars, well deserved. Highly recommended.

We did a major kitchen remodel with removal of a wall, and were very happy with Brother & Brother Builders' work. Eitan Epstein was a pleasure to work with throughout, and his estimate of 6-8 weeks was exactly right--they finished in 7 weeks. Eitan was very good at keeping up with all the details of the project and making sure they happened on time, and Auner did an excelled job of managing the work on site. The subcontractors who did the electrical work and floors were also very pleasant and competent. We're very happy with the way our kitchen turned out, and will call these guys again for any future remodeling.

Reem & Julio offered a world class experience for the full renovation of a master and guest bathroom. They didn't miss any details and went above and beyond to exceed expectations and any ask. They were very easy to work with and deliver not only excellent work but amazing customer service. I am so incredibly in love with my new restrooms they created!

After 35 years of living in the same house, it was time to update our kitchen. We only kept the bay window and gutted the rest. Everything was updated. This included the floor, ceiling lights (new 30 year LED lights), cabinets, appliances, hood exhaust over the oven, backsplash, sink and faucet. We had only done one upgrade since we owned the house (29 double pane windows) and had been unhappy with the results. There were many surprises such as having to enlarge two windows. It turned out this was unnecessary since the house was built in 1974 and should have used the "grandfathered" building codes. The Livermore builder mistakenly thought the house was built in 1978 (after the new building code). Additionally, the building inspectors came back twice because the work was done before the inspectors saw and approved the work. I was extremely happy with Eitan, the general manager, and his crew Roberto and Danial. They were knowledgeable and professional. I was promised that the work would be done in a month - it was finished in 29 days. When there was a minor delay (not due to Brother & Brother) Roberto and Daniel worked on two Saturdays to make sure the kitchen was completed as promised. Big thank you to Brother and Brother (B&B) who assisted us with our kitchen and family room renovation project. Like most renovation projects, there are always challenges and surprises along the way. We encountered a major structural issue after demolition. Our contractor could have easily taken advantage of us in that situation and charged us a ridiculous amount to fix the structural problem. Instead, B&B worked expeditiously to resolve the issue and the change order price was very reasonable considering the amount of work that was involved. Once we resolved the structural issue, the rest of the kitchen remodel seemed like a walk in the park. Ray was our project manager and he delivered what he promised and more. We enjoyed working with Ray. He is customer oriented and easy to work with, but he is technical and approaches problems with an honest and no-nonsense approach. Ray communicated with us and provided important updates every week. We always felt he was on our side and had our best interest in mind. Our construction team, Julio and Jose, are highly skilled craftsmen with great attention to details, technical aptitude, and excellent problem-solving skills. We quickly learned how smart, hardworking, and kind Julio and Jose are and trusted them working inside our house and on our project. The foreman Julio was always communicating with us, which we appreciated very much. We are incredibly pleased with our new kitchen and family room. The transformation is better than what we could have ever imagined. We’re very grateful for everything B&B has done and will cherish the new improvements for many years to come. We highly recommend B&B and would hire them again for future projects.

We worked with Or Avrahami from Brother and Brother to completely remake the interior of our home (the previous owner's had lived there 40+ years). The renovation included two new bathrooms, a new kitchen, turning a 3 BR into a 4 BR by moving / building interior walls, new wood floors, and the removal of a large interior wall. We couldn't be happier with the final result and we appreciate Or working with us to ensure that the quality of each component was top notch, to our liking, and within budget.

Brother and Brother just recently renovated our guest bathroom (3 piece), and they did a fantastic job. Ido is a thorough, responsible and hardworking project manager: was always in contact with me, visited the job site constantly, took me to see tile contractors, was always pleasant, informative and patient. The person who did the work, Walter, was also amazing - a perfectionist, found excellent solutions to hiccups due to my vanity selection and tile design. Tile job is beautiful: Efron was also a perfectionist. Project was completed on time (if not a little early). I'm definitely using this same team on our master bath.

My wife and I decided to have our master bathroom remodeled and phoned around to several contractors for quotes. While many of the quotes were in the same price range, we decided to work with Brother & Brother Builders because of the professionalism of the project coordinator, Dror Postiner—this was one of the best decisions we made. On initial impressions, Dror was on time for the meeting and followed through on every promise made—down to sending us the quote within 24 hours of meeting with us. Dror listened to what we wanted in the remodel and never pressured us into more work or features. He did not try to upsell us when we asked about our guest bathroom remodel as well, but instead encouraged us to let their work speak for itself and wait until we see the work in the master bathroom to decide whether to proceed on the guest bathroom. Their work speaks for itself! Once we decided to work with Brother & Brother, Dror met with us within that week to sign the contract and to schedule the demolition. After scheduling the demolition date, Dror met us at showrooms to buy the finish materials for the project and to help us pick the right materials. He was always on time for these meetings and would let us know where it was best to spend our money (shower fixtures, tile, etc) and where to save money (toilet, accessories, etc), and what products and materials would look well together. The master bathroom remodel was scheduled within a very reasonable timeframe and began on schedule. The crew assigned to our house was very professional and came to work every day. They were very respectful of our home and did all they could to minimize dust, putting down drop cloths and craft paper to protect the floors and cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. Dror and the crew would also continuously check in with to make sure the features and fixtures we purchased were being installed to our satisfaction and specifications. The remodel of the master bathroom was proceeding so smoothly and effortlessly, including passing all City inspections, that we signed on for the guest bathroom and some drywall work in the master bedroom. The quoting and scheduling process went just as smooth and the work was scheduled to begin immediately after the master bathroom was completed. Once the master bathroom was finished and the guest bathroom was started, the work for the guest bathroom proceeded along the same reasonable timeline as the master bathroom, with all City inspections passed as well. Any time we had a question related to the work, schedule, or inspection, Dror made sure to take care of our questions or concerns. Dror ensured that we never had to worry about the project—even when there were unforeseen challenges—we never had to worry that we’d be left with any issues. It was always taken care of. Both bathrooms and the master bedroom (which also included some exterior stucco work due to a new window) were completed within 10 weeks—exactly within the timeframe we had hoped for. We were initially hesitant to begin a home remodel (especially with a two-year old in the house), but Dror and the crew’s work made this remodeling effortless and worry-free. These remodels were more than just a facelift on a couple old rooms—the work done by Brother & Brother created room transformations that we could have never thought to imagine. We hired Brother & Brother to build an addition and do a full home remodel. Zion was our project manager and he was great to work with. He was easy to communicate with, and tried to work during the planning and proposal phase. Raul, the construction foreman, and his crew, were also always friendly and professional. The end results are beautiful and the project was on-time and on-budget for the most part, but it wasn’t completely painless. It’s not like an HGTV show where you just hand off the project, they do all the work, and you come back to a completely perfect home. While Zion gives great design ideas, and suggests places to shop at where he gets discounts, it’s still on you to make design decisions and purchase a lot of the finishes and fixtures. Also, even though Zion stayed mostly on top of everything, we had to frequently bring up small details and workmanship issues with them, all of which they were happy to fix. Overall, it was a good experience with great results, and we highly recommend Brother & Brother.

Brother and Brother Builders is an unusually fine firm and deserves consideration for anyone contemplating remodeling. After interviewing many competitors, we selected Brother and Brother for our extensive and full makeover that included room additions, building a 700 SF covered deck, the removal of a fireplace and opening of the entire house. None of the existing rooms was untouched. In every stage of the work, Ray was an incredible project manager, from many versions of the planning, to explaining what to expect, to selecting materials, to obtaining permits, and even moving belongings, he was instrumental and greatly eased a very difficult process. He was a fine communicator and we were rarely surprised. Ray employs a small number of work groups with whom he’s been associated for many years. Together, they routinely brought projects to completion on time, or even early. The skill of his craftsmen ranges to drafting, demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, tiling, cabinetry, flooring, roofing, installation of appliances, and much more. Ray designed a plan that even allowed our family to reside in the house during construction by sectioning off parts of it in succession; i.e.—living in the back of the house while the kitchen/living area was transformed and moving to the front while the new bedrooms/bathroom were being built. Ray even assisted in obtaining other contractors’ services, such as HVAC and installation of a full solar energy system. The end product is a high quality, essentially new house that could not be had by purchasing new construction. Since we’ve had the original house for more than 20 years, it also compares very favorably with new construction from the standpoint of property taxes, even though the quality is much higher. I rarely bother to write reviews, but five stars all around to Brother and Brother Builders!

He explained everything and provided a bid the same day as we hoped to get started soon. He was so easy to communicate with and I knew right away this was the company for me. He explained the entire contract and how payments are made in phases after the work for each phase is completed. Everything is so professional and clear. We booked a start date and and they started on time. Or excels at keeping the customer informed and helping you each step of the way. I was assigned a construction guy, Raul, who did all the work. He was wonderful to have around. A hard worker, polite and very good at his job. He arrived every day around the same time and if there was going to be a change in his schedule he let us know. Victor assisted with the cabinets and he was a pleasure to work with. Jose is the counter top guy and he and his crew were so professional and did a beautiful job on the counter. What really stands out was their response to any changes I needed done. They were all very accommodating as their main goal is for you to have the outcome you are looking for. I needed help with my tile order and Or went above and beyond and worked with my tile designer in person to correct my order and order additional pieces I needed. As I sit here having just made my last payment, I feel so thankful that we chose Brother and Brother builders to remodel our bathroom!

We have hired Brother & Brother builders for adding a bathroom, decking and rough remodeling of our house. After interviewing five different contractors, we were so sure that we would move forward with Zion. We were thrilled by his passion on the house. Zion quoted us pretty well and had very good plans. Also, we didn't have to pay too much extra during and after the project. Zion planned everything very thoroughly from the beginning, so there were no surprises. I am overall very happy with the outcome. Zion and his crews did a great job on my house. I especially admire Zion for his sense of design and ideas. He was able to direct us to the right places to buy the materials for the construction as well. Very responsive and friendly. He's definitely someone that cares about getting his projects done perfectly than someone who just cares about money. However I wasn't entirely satisfied with the project managers. (They were still very nice people to deal with) They fixed most of them but there are still some minor mistakes that I think they could have done better. My project was a bit rushed at the ending stage due to the delay caused by city permitting process, but considering all the wonderful work done on my house, I can say I am pretty happy and I would definitely recommend this company to my friends.

It was a large project which completely gutted and reconfigured our kitchen/living room including taking down a wall. We had a pretty good idea about what we wanted to do and Eitan helped us hammer out all of the details. He was very upfront about schedule and what types issues may come up, so there were no surprises. The quote was a little higher than a couple other quotes we received, but the fact that the project was delivered beautifully while being on time and on budget, with no change orders, totally made it worth it.

Top notch remodeling job on bathroom which included replacng a tub with a shower.. Excellent work as well as customer interface. Reyes and team were great. I've worked with other companies and this one will be my go to in the future. I highly recommend them.

The job was to remove the popcorn ceiling through out the house, living room ceiling and upstairs bedrooms; place recessed lighting in all those areas; remodel upstairs second bathroom and downstairs powder room/bathroom.. All of this project was explained in order of how they would be completed. I think it is important that you be prepared, be vigilant, ask questions, and be patient. The workers were timely, friendly, professional, courteous, and completed the project beautifully. I am very pleased with how it all came out

I am very happy with my Kitchen remodel with Brother and Brother Builders. I was not anticipating doing a kitchen remodel this year, but I had some unexpected water damage which ultimately resulted in a full remodel. I had heard multiple stories about horrible experiences from others. I absolutely didn’t want to do this. When I first met Zion and Ray (the Brothers), they were very understanding of my situation. They didn’t pressure me into anything and spent the time to explain my options. After some discussion and research, I signed with B&B Builders. Zion walked me through the process and gave me a plan on when I needed to order various items (cabinets, sink, appliances, etc). I ended up ordering items with lengthy lead times but Zion was very flexible with each new delay. Zion managed the job from start to finish. At every stage of the project, he sent very professional specialists. The project began with mold remediation and asbestos removal and quickly advanced to the design stage. Zion brought over a design specialist who, measured and prepared a 3D computer generated layout design. She was very creative and developed a plan that I had not considered. Julio (Site Supervisor) and Auner were regulars in my home. Every morning, they arrived at my house at 8:00 a.m. and were done for the day by 5:00 p.m. They left my home clean and organized every time. If they happened to arrive early, they would wait outside until 8:00 a.m. before they knocked on my door. They were very courteous and professional. Their work was done quickly and with great care to ensure that I would be happy with the result. I ended up expanding my project to include new hardwood floors, carpeting, full interior painting and a new heater/air conditioning system with the heater in the attic. Every single professional who Zion sent to my home was courteous, professional and good at what they do. The project is over and I am very happy with my new kitchen and with the entire experience. I do miss the crew though. They made this experience so positive. I enjoyed coming home every day to find the new thing they had done while I was at work. I didn’t miss a single day of work and I was never uncomfortable with the professionals Zion sent to my home. I have recommended Brother and Brother Builders to my family and friends and am delighted to provide this feedback.

These guys are really good! After researching for quite a while I decided to engage with Brother & Brother for a full remodel of our house. We started with the conceptual design which really helped us to get a vision of what we were going for. My wife is not a visual individual so this was great. The project went smooth for the most part. The main reason I am rating 5 stars is because of the care and attention, not only from the brother but from the hard working workers too. Very professional and friendly. They took the time to answer any questions my wife and I had. These guys really care for the project to come out nice. The only problem We had was the construction dust which could've been controlled better. They did send out a professional cleaning crew at the end which was a nice gesture. I highly recommend the brothers and would definitely use them again in the future.

We did a full bathroom remodel. Our project manager, Eitan, was great. He was very responsive. We communicated on a regular basis and the minor issues that are inevitable during a project were handled quickly.

I have contacted brother and brother thru Home Advisor. Upon initial conversation with Ray he was not sure if I was a real customer since I was interviewing him for a potential renovation for my sister house. Eventually we were scheduling an appointment with my sister and brother in law, Ray came and did a walk through and one on one with me my sister and brother in law. After we went on line and checked out brother and brother work. After interviewing another 5 other contractors and checking their work we set up another meeting with Ray. Ray explained the entire process, gave us astimated time frame and went through all the detail scope of work. Ray made us quite comfortable and secured which is the most important thing when you are getting into a huge project like that effecting your all life. After second meeting we chose brother & brother and Ray to do the project for us with no hesitations, even they were not the lowest bid. Before we even start the project Ray took us to shop for all the finish materials and even helped us with design making sure it was my sisters taste, the trust became even stronger. We were able to stay at the house during 90% of the project they decided the house to accommodate our stay. During the process the workers took the time to explain anything we asked helped us move things around so we were comfortable the entire time. We did a full house renovation with changing the interior lay out plus a 200 SQFT addition the quality of the workmanship is excellent way better then we expected. Ray told us the entire project will take 8-10 months and it took about 6 months which also is a greaty appreciated. If someone was to ask me for recommendations on a contractor, whether it’s small or huge renovation, without hesitation I would say brother & brother for their own piece of mind. The finish result is amazing we love our new house. Thank you Ray and brother & brother for making our house a beautiful home.

Every home owner who embarks on the journey of a home remodel is both excited about the possibilities and nervous about the enormity of the undertaking including cost, time and stress. One of the hardest choices is putting your trust in a contractor. The ideal contractor should be knowledgeable, honest, easy to work with, cost competitive and have the ability to guide the homeowner while respecting their choices for the look and feel of their home. While this sounds impossible and contrary to the scary contractor stories you may have heard, these ideal qualities are exactly what you will find with Brother and Brother Builders. My husband and I recently finished a five month kitchen remodel that changed over half of our house. We had an awfully small galley style kitchen with walls shared by both our family room and living rooms. In the final project, we moved our front door to make a larger entry and kitchen. We added a support beam, moved a bathroom and moved two walls that completely opened our floor plan. Many months before contracting with Brother and Brother, we started the project with a different contractor and paid for an architect to draw up blue prints and get them approved by the city. We set off with our blue prints to bid out the project. We called Brother and Brother Builders along with three other contractors. When we met with Zion, the owner of Brother and Brother Builders, he spent over two hours with us listening and looking at the plans then plainly stated that he didn’t think the current blue prints had the correct layout for our house and family needs. When we listened to his proposal we couldn’t bear the idea of starting over. After working with his digital designer we agreed that he was right and we couldn’t be happier with the results of our new home! In the end we chose to contract with Brother and Brother Builders because we felt comfortable and relaxed while communicating with Zion and his teams. This fact held true throughout the entire remodel process. Our family lived in the house during the remodel and we really felt like to work crews went out of their way to make the process livable for us. They worked cleanly, worked to code, passed all inspections, stayed on time, stayed on budget and worked collaboratively with us to make sure that we were happy with every material and finished look. While I could write a novel about the process and give multiple examples, the short of the story is that we would recommend Brother and Brother Builders for any of your home remodeling needs and will likely use them in the future when we are ready to add a second story to our home!

I hired Brother and Brother after interviewing 4 other companies to work on a few remodel projects for a house I was preparing to move into. I had a short 2-week window where the bulk of the projects needed to be finished prior to my move-in date. The customer service with consistent availability and responsiveness is what really set this company apart for me since I knew I had such a short time window to get everything done. Zion, the project manager I worked with, was very responsive after the first meeting by providing an estimate quickly and answering any questions along the way. Another thing that set Brother and Brother apart is their willingness to work through problems to make sure the client is happy. As with any project you run into issues, but Zion & team were great about working with me to resolve them and get the results I wanted. This didn’t change the original estimate unless it was a new request. The cost is fair for what you get, and they pass down their company pricing for the material distributors they work with. Overall, I’m very happy with the work Brother and Brother did for me, and would use them again for future remodel projects. In fact, I’ve already recommended them to 2 co-workers who are looking to start remodel projects.

From a glance, everything looks great and the project manager and foreman were great to work with. However, post remodel now, I have had many issues arise all stemming from their subcontractors crappy work. They blamed it being a busy season, yet I wish I knew more about remodeling before hiring them because now I am stuck with having to hire someone else to fix what their subcontractors did sub par.

Brother and Brother worked with us in a professional manner and worked out all issues that came up including some additional work that was not within the scope of the original contract. Eitan Epstein at Brother & Brother Builders does a fabulous job. The job was done quickly and to our specifications. While we had friends tell us nightmares of waiting for up to 10 months to complete their bathrooms - we were soaking in our tub after 3 weeks (it was done a week earlier than planned!)

The Good - High Quality Work - Knocked our remodel out of the park - Best bid out of 4 other contractors (3 of which were sketchy) - Or (our project manager) was easy to communicate with from beginning to end - The guys doing the work were polite and easy to work with -Made me a custom made cabinet for beer storage! The Bad - Didn't leave the remodeled area very clean or organized for the weekends The Ugly - The dust! We're very happy with the end result of our kitchen. So much so that we're going to bring back Brother and Brother to have them do our entry way tile. They do high quality work. We were able to go to work as normal and have them come and go as required. Neither one of us stayed home and babysat the house. At all times, Or was easy to reach and communicate any concerns we had. The only major complaints we had were that we always had to organize and clean for the weekends. We have a 1 yr old and we don't want him pent up upstairs the whole time. Also, at the end of it all, there was dust everywhere which we were told that there'd be dust barriers to prevent. BUT we came into the renovation expecting both of those issues, it's just our 2¢ on how to improve an already stellar service.

(Original Review) They have great customer satisfaction. There are always minor issues with the process; just make sure to point out any mistakes you see and they will try to make it right. (Updated review) Unfortunately, as time went on there have been issues identified by other contractors and our usage. The first is the quality of parts they provide (led lights, switches, etc). Everything they give you will be the cheap stuff so make sure you clarify switches will be dimmers and vents will be back-draft proof / insulated and that they insulate the walls. Second would be quality of work - contaminated white grout has yellow spots - excessive grout underneath bench and sink, oil pencil measuring marks on installed tile and then siliconed over. Third is the attention to hardware instructions - our waste pipe was installed too low and I had to install a flexible p-trap myself and the pocket doors weren't installed correctly causing noise and scratches.

Both Eitan and Jeff were a real pleasure to work with on my bathroom remodeling project. Eitan kept me fully informed on the status of the project every step of the way and the work that Jeff did was first rate. I never had to worry about a thing since I knew my project was in the hands of a highly skilled and talented contractor. I highly recommend Brother and Brother Builders to anyone looking for a contractor for their home improvement project.

We recently had Brother and Brother Builders work on our 3 bathrooms and kitchen remodeling, floor of the entire house and fireplace renovation. I enjoyed the attention Zion and Reem paid to our project and I have to say the two brothers are a perfect combination. Zion has absolutely elegant taste and down to the detail, gave me a lot of helpful advices on material selection, overall style, etc. He would spend hours with me in stores trying to find the best tiles for our bathroom which I sincerely appreciated. Reem is very responsible and Always attend my request in a timely manner. As to the price, yes, they are definitely higher than those without license, but actually among those formal, licensed contractors with good reputation, I found their price quite reasonable. With the advice I got, I was able to get a stunning result I have been dreaming for, and I think it is totally worthwhile. The crew was professional and friendly, we got along so well that we have been like a family in the last several months of work. Of course, there is always something that could have been done better, such as better overall planning on schedule so we could take into consideration of material delay, and finish sooner, but overall I would give them 5 star and definitely recommend them to my friends who would like to do remodeling in the future.

I hired brother and brother to remodel my kitchen which included structural change.They did a fabulous job from the engineer Jose Fernandez all the way to the hard working Julio, Jose and Edgar. They introduced us to Israel the cabinet maker who was absolutely wonderful and worked hand in hand with them. Zion and Ray were very helpful and responsive along the way. I hired Brother and Brother Contractors to do a remodel of my vanity area and adjoining bathroom. I live in Cupertino. I had interviewed and received bids form several additional contractors. Brother and Brother priced the job at a fair price and carried Workman’s Compensation Insurance which was important to me. I am very very happy with the end result. All workman supplied by the Contractor were professional, friendly and courteous, careful not to damage my property , and were flexible if there was a small alteration that we decided upon as the job progressed. I had a curbless tile shower installed as well as tile flooring in my bathroom, vanity area, and walk-in closet with a programmable electric heating element under the tile. I also had a Panasonic fan with heater installed over my shower - this required re-wiring and additional wiring which was installed without issue. Brother and Brother also gave me great input in regards to the details of of what would look best. I am extremely happy with my remodeled bathroom/vanity area.

They deliver to what they committed to. Project was on time and within budget. How often does that happen?! They and do not consider the job done until you are 100% satisfied. Very easy to work with. I work full time, so having the option to communicate thru emails and text is very convenient. Zion assisted with finding finished goods at competitive pricing. Living in San Francisco, we have found it a bit difficult to find contractors who are both skilled/detail oriented and good and responsive project managers. In Brother & Brother Builders we have been fortunate to have found that combination. Our experience started off on the right foot, and continued as such throughout the whole project. We received an email from Ray on a Saturday and texts and a call from him on Sunday. We setup time and met with Afik as the project manager for our project the next day (our specific project was a roof replacement and skylight additions). Afik was one of the best project managers I have worked with in contracting. He also happens to be a water damage expert who provided lots of free feedback along the way. My experience working with Afik was great. He coordinated everything, explained everything, and was quick, clear, and concise in his communication whether it was good or bad news. Any surprises that came up he was quick to resolve and handle under the existing contract. Above all he is a nice and honorable person who does what he says he will. Renovations are always a daunting task, but Brother & Brother Builders eased the stress & made the process more manageable. Zion, Ray & team did an amazing job redoing my kitchen. I was very particular about the details & dimensions. They gave me no hassle on the last minute changes/alterations I requested. They listened & delivered a beautiful kitchen, the one I envisioned.

All of our friends who have had remodeling done have horror stories (bad workmanship, delays, difficulty reaching their contractor, etc.). So when we needed work done in two bathrooms and kitchen, we were worried and hesitant about selecting a company to do the job. After researching and reading reviews on the Web, we selected Brother & Brother Builders. Brother & Brother was quick to respond to our request for a quote. Zion (company co-owner) came out the very next day to assess our job and presented a quote on the spot. We anticipated in advance that no job would run without a few gliches… and during the course of our remodel we did run into problems and concerns. However, contrary to our friends’ horror stories, Zion would respond to our text message concerns in about hour or less and made sure a solution was in place. After requesting minor alterations during construction, we discovered that Zion’s original quote was a firm quote. Zion did not “nickel and dime” us for these minor changes. In our kitchen, we replaced fluorescent lighting with four LED recessed lights. Due to ceiling studs and a ventilation duct, the LED lights could not be placed in an attractive layout. Zion was quick to offer a solution by adding two more LED lights to visually balance the overall look. The LED lights are expensive, yet Zion did not charge us for the additional two lights or the extra labor to install. For us, working with Zion was like working with a good friend. Our satisfaction and happiness was constantly his utmost concern. Thank you Zion and Brother & Brother Builders!

We hired Brother & Brother Builders after our mother fell and broke her hip. We needed her bathroom remodeled with new sheet rock, tile, walk-in shower, vanity sink, toilet, grab bars, etc... We needed the job turned around in 4 weeks and they did it in 5. The end result is a gorgeous bathroom that is safe and comfortable for our elderly mother to use. We were quoted a fair price. The crew's attention to detail was impressive. They simply do great work. We will definitely hire Brother & Brother Builders for future projects.

We have recently had Brother and Brother Builders work on our bathrooms and I must say that it has been a great experience. They might be priced slightly higher than some other contractors, but I think the price is worth. I have contacted them on a Monday and I was able to make an online appointment for a quote for the very next day. Ray immediately contacted me and confirmed the appointment. He showed up the next day, we discussed the plans and he gave us the quote right there and then. We wanted to have the work done before Christmas and Ray made sure that we got our wish. Two weeks later, the team started demolition. Auner and his partner were punctual every day, they kept us informed on what they were doing, worked very well and clean up after themselves every time. We did hit a few bumps in the road but Ray was always easy to reach and he made sure the "bumps" got smoothen out. Two weeks later, the bathrooms are done and everything looks wonderful. We are very pleased with the work they have done and with their customer service and we have already asked them to help us with another project.

We had an old flat roof (leaky, no insulation) and wanted a new structure with the ability to install central heat/air. We received 4 quotations which varied a lot in price and scope. Brother and Brother were the only ones that believed they could replace the entire thing without displacing us from our home for a single day. They did it! They worked with my designer, the truss company and were fantastic throughout. We plan on having an addition in the next few years and have already decided to use Brother and Brother again. Ray and Zion are great communicators and we're always looking out for our best interests.

I hired Zion from Brother & Brother builder to complete a bathroom remodel for my master bedroom in September 2016. They were professional and prompt; and came in at a very reasonable price point. Zion was very helpful in helping me think through the remodel and the design of the final layout. In addition, he came with me to the tile store and provided suggestions on the pairing of the various tile designs and options. The work was performed by his crew and they began almost immediately. They were also very clean. They laid down carpet protectors and implemented other measures to help protect my walls and furniture. The final result was amazing. I have to mention that the tilework, in particular, was impressive. Every time I shower now, I can't help but be impressed by the detail and quality of the tile work. The lines are perfect. After interviewing several companies for my kitchen remodel I came across B&B and I'm glad I went with them. A big factor for me was dealing directly with the owners although they were a bit higher than others. They were very prompt, polite and friendly. They helped me and my husband with the design and even spent time shopping around with us. The workers are really high quality. We would like to point out especially julio and his amazing abilities and eye for details. I would highly recommend the brothers and will use them again!

We had our bathrooms remodeled an they did an excellent job. The people who did the work, were always here when they said they would be and are very hard workers. They answered all our questions and were able to give us ideas for finishing our bathrooms.

We had met with a couple of contractors on our bathroom renovation. Since this bathroom is for our office we went upscale with marble and Restoration Hardware vanity and other premium accouterments. The original contractor we were considering had a stance that was "my way or the highway" and would respond to any question on pricing or cost breakdown with "that is the price". Furthermore his quote was only a "guesstimate" - leaving the door open for additional fees and charges at every bump in the road. Brother & Brother came in around the same price, but it was a fixed price and they kept their word. A separate electrical box, a fancy shower drain and marble bench, even some dumb stuff that the city inspector wanted was all taken care of as part of the project price. Workmanship from these guys was never an issue, their crew are artisans, These fellows are top-notch and the job got done quicker than promised (probably the first time this has happened in contractor history!). Also the first time my wife and I did not argue about remodeling work. I only hesitate to recommend Brother & Brother as I need them not to be too busy for our kitchen remodel!

I hired Brother and Brother B to remodel my entire restroom. The job was done nicely and clean. The workers were really good, nice people and on time. The project finished 3 days later than original completion timeframe given but it was not a big deal, I liked my final result. I would recommend them and will hire them again in the future.

We have an older home in downtown San Jose (110+ years) that had seen it's better days and in deep need!! After talking to 5 different contractors we felt the most comfortable with Zion and Brother and Brother Builders. Our project included a new roof, re-insulating the attic, solar panels, replacing wall heaters with central heat and air, add a master bathroom, remodel the master bedroom and remodel a bathroom. A major undertaking that we were of course nervous about but felt most comfortable with Zion and his team. We were more than happy with the ideas, suggestions and most definitely the workmanship by the team. You can't go wrong with Zion and Ray at B&B!

I recently hired B&B to remodel the kitchen and 3 bathrooms in my Alamo house. I am very happy with the quality of work and the professionalism of the entire crew. They were very experienced and always on site as scheduled. They finished the project in a timely manner. The workers were polite, respectful and conscientious to my home. My kitchen and bathrooms look stunning and I always get many compliments. I had a problem with one of the bathrooms sink later on but they came out and fixed it in no time. Interviewed 4 contractors to do a bedroom and bathroom remodel. I found that first Zion was very easy to talk with and communicate our wants/needs/demands. Talking with several of his references they confirmed our feelings. Zion offered us some great design ideas that we followed through on and happy that we did. The workmanship was outstanding and there was never a complaint from us about the quality. Another point that I believe is important is the ease at which we were able to request and negotiate changes. All I can say is job well done and we are beyond pleased!!
