Cowboys Remodeling of Dallas

I would run as fast as you can from doing any business with Juan Carlos at Cowboys Remodeling of Dallas. He went dark on us during the middle of a project after collecting over 70% of the monies required for the bid. It's been ghost town from Juan since 9/22/21 no where to be found and not returning phone calls, texts or emails.

Juan and his staff did an excellent job for us. Juan went out of his way to work around a family gathering and got us to 90% completion so we had something to show off. The employees (not contractors) were very polite and friendly, and most importantly left us with a beautiful kitchen quite quickly. Juan has made himself available after the fact to address any minor issues we have had, and gets them done quickly. Cowboys remodeling will be our only call next time we need work done

We interviewed several contractors and knew right away we wanted Carlos for the job and we are very happy with the result. He removed a wall to give us the open concept we wanted, gave us a new kitchen and guest bathroom. As in all construction, there were a couple glitches along the way, but Carlos was responsive and everything ended up just the way we wanted. We can't wait to have him do our master bathroom.

One of the worst experiences I hv had. The guy didn't finish the job took all the money due to him but a small portion (3%). He doesn't have a solid crew. Extremely disappointed. I am now left with an unfinished project with some ugly incompletions. I would never recommend nor employ them again.

We hired Carlos to remodel our small bathroom (drywall, tile surround and tile floor). He worked hard to get the job done on time and things looked great until tiles began to come loose in the shower and then we began to notice the floor wasn't level and they used grout rather than caulk around major joints which began to fail quickly. They came out to make a repair and when I asked them to come out again because the tile was popping off the shower wall I never heard back. I've called and texted at least seven times since Thanksgiving to no avail. I've since had to have his work torn out and redone by another company at an additional cost. We are not pleased with the work or communication and would not recommend Cowboys.

We hired Cowboys Remodeling to remodel our kitchen. Carlos suggested ideas throughout the project, and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. His team did an amazing job putting my kitchen together. It looks fabulous! I went for a farmhouse look, white cabinets, with a farmhouse sink. So pleased with the results! I would definitely hire Cowboys Remodeling again!

We hired Cowboys remodeling to do our living room home theater remodeling. The team had to take down the existing mantle, fireplace, cabinets and redo the area with stacked stones and new cabinets that they built. The color of the cabinets had to be matched with our existing kitchen cabinets. They also had to work with our home theater calibration crew to run the wires and adjust the speakers accordingly. The project lasted for about 2.5 weeks. The entire crew at Cowboys remodeling were exceptional in service and quality! I usually hire contractors only with reference from friends and family, however for this job, I was in short of time and hired them based on reviews and I'm glad I did.

I trust Cowboy Remodeling and will use them again. Not only are they meticulous in their work, Juan Carlos has great ideas and will steer you towards incredible results. I recently moved into an old house that on the surface looked great, but was lacking in good repairs and efficient living. My small master bathroom needed work and I had a vision of what I wanted. Now I want to live in my bathroom. Love it! He also put lighting in my kitchen, which was very dark, and bookcases in the living room. In addition he added glass shelves, a built in wine rack and wine glass holder. I have several other projects to do and I will be using them again, for sure.

Very helpful and hard working. Helped us create our dream kitchen and guest bathroom. Issues have been addressed and corrected, to which we are very pleased.

My wife and I had contacted 6 contractors to have our kitchen and 2 ½ bathrooms remodeled. Of all of the people that we talked to we knew JC was the right guy. He was very thorough with what we were needing and was very helpful with ideas. Ideas that fit with what we were trying to accomplish and not an up-sell on his part. We also found out that he does other things, such as doors and water heaters which we had him add to the initial quote. He was very quick and thorough with his quote and laid out very good terms for a payment schedule. His pricing was right in line, if not better, with some of the other quotes we received. He was very honest and upfront about when he could start our project which was a few weeks out since he said he does not work on two major projects at a time. I can appreciate that! Other people we talked to gave us the impression they would be working on a few projects at a time and in turn would turn our project over to another person who then would be our contact. Not JC, we worked and communicated with him directly. He is very easy to communicate with either by phone, text or in person. No middle man or waiting on answers. In addition, he was very up front about the quality of material we were going to purchase. He doesn’t want to use cheap materials and he doesn’t want to cut any corners in the quality of his work. We bought the materials which helped out with the over cost of our project. JC set up a time to meet us at Floors & Décor to make sure the materials we selected were correct and would color coordinate. He also helped us with additional items needed and also figured out how much of each item we would need. He then picked up the items and brought them to our house when he started the project. Another big thing, is he is not cash strapped. If there were miscellaneous items needed he would go and purchase these and would save the receipts for us to pay him at a later time. JC and his crew were on time every day and left at the time they say they would. They worked every day as they said they would until our project was completed. They were very clean and organized with their tools, supplies, etc. which they left in our garage. They completed the project on time as he had told us in the beginning. He was also very flexible and patient with us. We forgot some of the details such as electrical plug outlets needing to be changed and a gas range which we forgot to order after they had installed the granite the in the kitchen. We were worried this would delay his schedule. He said it wasn’t a problem at all and they would work on other things until the range arrived. JC stresses quality from the very beginning. As they would work on the projects he was checking the quality constantly. If something didn’t look good or right he already was on top of it and had taken care of it. This was huge at the end since our punch list was very minimal and made it easy on everyone involved. Stress? I had heard how stressful this can be to do this type of work on your home and had expected this to be somewhat stressful. It wasn’t! JC made it smooth from the beginning to end with virtually everything going perfect. We for sure will use him for other things in the future and will for sure recommend him to everyone who is looking for work to be done on their house.
