D. Michael Designs exceeded all our expectations for a kitchen, living room and laundry room remodel. We had some apprehension choosing a builder to complete our project, but all I can say is we hit the jackpot with Dave Peters of D. Michael designs. Here are a few reasons we would not hesitate to recommend D. Michael Designs: 1. Dave is timely - if he said he was going to meet at a certain time he was usually 5 minutes early. 2. Dave will provide morning email updates (before 7am) stating what work will be accomplished that day. 3. Dave has a dedicated set of subcontractors he used for our project: the carpenters, tile installers, electrician, plumber and cabinet guy were all exceptional. 4. Dave puts everything in writing so there are no surprises. 5. Dave has accounts with several local businesses so we could access builder pricing for our appliances, tile, countertops, etc. 6. Dave demands perfection. On periodic project walk throughs he would often notice things that needed to be addressed before we did. 7. When we were out of town, Dave provided pictures of the project so we could see the progress being made (he has an Instagram account) Don't hesitate to talk with Dave of D. I have remodeled several homes over the years and Designer Michael Designs LLC is the best by far. Not only did they start and finish the project on time, they also arrived on time each day and worked a full day. They stuck to the budget and were efficient at trouble-shooting any unexpected problems as they arose. At the end of each day I was informed of what was scheduled for the next day and who would be arriving at the house (plumber, carpenter, etc.). They are efficient, friendly and professional. I will definitely be using them on future projects.

My experience with D. Michael Designs was beyond my expectations, pleasant and professional, I would highly recommend them. I hired them because Dave consistently responded to my emails and phone calls in a timely manner during the interview process. Once the work started he was pleasant to work with and always tried his best to accommodate my requests. He continued to communicate via email, phone, text on a daily basis, sending pictures of work done as well. This was essential to me since I did not live in the house at that the time of the remodel and could only visit every other weekend. The project consisted of a garage conversion to master bed/bath, complete kitchen remodel, new flooring, interior paint job and a few other tasks. Everything went smoother than I had expected which was a nice surprise. The project was completed within the expected time frame and cost. The workmanship was excellent, I am very pleased with the final results and would definitely recommend D. Michael Designs.

I would like to share a very positive experience with my hall bathroom remodel. As a repeat customer of D. Michael Designs, I knew he did excellent work. The bathroom had one slight modification (wainscoting) about 20 years ago and was otherwise as it was built in 1983. I had an idea of what I wanted but knew I would need to rely on David's designer input. We knew the foundation of color-scheme desired and proceeded from there. Upon David's visit the next day, he brought tile samples and more for us to look at. His selections were completely in-line with what I envisioned. We selected the materials and then discussed design. He brought viable, exciting ideas to the table, and we quickly agreed to the direction we wanted to go. The results are nothing short of fabulous. I find myself going in, turning on the light (and silent fan) and just embracing the beautiful bathroom created. I look forward to the next phase of our remodel and am confident it will be just as impressive.

Hands down, the best remodel experience we have ever had!! We have used D. Michael designs for four projects now in our house. The crews they use are on-time, professional, take time to thoroughly prep and clean up the area, as well as take PRIDE in their work! Mr. Peters is consistently on-site throughout the project to ensure the work is of the highest quality and being done to the customers satisfaction! We've had Dave re-do our kitchen and more recently our hardwood floors/fireplace. Everything looks great. He makes sure that you're updated and happy at each step of the process, from design and planning, to demo, to installation.

The older home we purchased needed an additional bathroom and closets plus a hot tub pad and a roof on the deck. Dave had submitted a design to the previous owner so we met with him and were impressed with his ideas and experience, especially his familiarity with our strict local architectural process. Throughout the project he answered all our questions promptly and provided detailed estimates whenever we changed or grew the scope. When older-home issues arose, we worked them out together, and we were glad for the innovative ideas his team provided. He was frequently onsite and sent us update emails with descriptions and photos of progress. The job took longer than we expected initially, but the work was well done and we are very happy with the outcome. We highly recommend D Michael Designs and will definitely use them for any future projects.

Wonderful experience with D. Michael Designs. He was asked to help design a more open kitchen/dining room. The result was raising the old 7' kitchen ceiling to match the 8' dining room ceiling, remove a dividing wall, sheet rock and texture, add updated lighting and granite countertops. D. Michael was able to flex his schedule to match ours, finished ahead of schedule and on budget. No surprises and even a few extra perks graciously added.

D. Michael delivered. They accomplished our entire bathroom remodel and were exceedingly conscientious about every detail. We love our new bathroom.

Travis Bowman has done exemplary work in design for the addition we are planning for our church in San Antonio. Although we have not started building yet, Travis displayed passion, knowledge, and skill in helping us develop a workable building. He listened to our ideas with an open mind, then helped us adjust the plan when necessary, taking into consideration financial limits, population concerns, and spiritual inspiration. He is a pleasant gentleman who has our complete endorsement and faith.
