JL Design helped me during my salon buildout turning a dark, cold place into a stunning, bright and comfortable space that inspires me daily. I couldn't thank them enough and so thankful I had their professional skills to help me through the process. Their team is so talented, prompt and professional and I could not recommend them enough!

We have recently completed our kitchen remodel with JL Design and couldn't be happier. The design team both talented and professional made merchandise delays/changes seamless. We would recommend Jessica and her team without hesitation.

My wife and I purchased a condo in downtown Nashville in late 2020 that we knew we would be completely gutting and renovating, changing the decor and style from what it had originally been. We wanted to work with a group that would actually listen first to our vision then use their expertise to bring it to fruition. When we first met Jessica and Lauren from JL Design, they presented themselves with a high level of professional knowledge and said all the little things that made it crystal clear they would be the best choice for us to design and manage this project. From the onset they provided great information, details and resources to start quickly and efficiently. We were doing this 2000 miles away, sight unseen and during the pandemic so we had an awful lot of trust in them. They would go by the property multiple times a week sending videos and facetiming if necessary to we could be in sync from beginning to end. They not only did there job successfully, but helped us oversee our GC as our eyes and ears. We didn't physically go to the property until completion and it turned out exactly how we wanted it and in addition, we consider them all at JL Design friends now. We highly recommend JL Design and are 100% satisfied!

I spent thousands of dollars and ended up with white walls and an incomplete bathroom. This design company was uninspired, unprofessional and completely underwhelming. The almost $40k bathroom remodel didn’t even include towel racks. I was told that they do what the client tells them to do. I went to them for direction and I got zero. They also would not return items I was unhappy with even though I picked them from small photos in emails. It was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with any service based company.

We were very pleased to work with Erika Thompson at JL Design to decorate our new outdoor screened porch and update our living room and entry way. Erika took the time to get to know us and our personal style. She created a plan, timeline, and worked well within our budget to provide us with beautiful, fun furniture and decorative pieces that have brightened up our home and added so much joy!

We hired JL Design to help us make our downstairs area into a home and spruce up our bedroom. The project included purchasing furniture, coordinating with contractors, and choosing paint colors. In all areas, JL design exceeded our expectations. Our decorator, Erika, listened closely to what we wanted and helped us create a home that is truly "us". My husband and don't exactly have the same style and Erika was able to balance our opinions to create spaces we both love. A big reason we wanted to work someone on this project was help in hiring people to re-do our floors and our kitchen pantry. Considering how busy these people are in Nashville, I doubt we would have been able to hire such quality businesses to complete these projects! I truly only have good things to say about JL design.

We hired Erika to decorate our living room, entry way and kitchen. She exceeded our expectations in every way! She took the time to get to know me and my husband and figure out our individual tastes and preferences. We are thrilled with all the decisions she made for us and that she helped us make along the way. She helped make our house a home. We are going to hire her again soon to do my office and probably our nursery! We highly recommend Erika as an Interior Designer!

Jessica is extremely helpful, patient and has a great eye. She was able to figure out what my interior style was (while I had no clue!) and provide affordable and functional options for what I was looking for. She made the process easy and I'd highly recommend her!

Besides having an eye for the details and tons of creativity, Jessica is decisive and direct in her communication of what works and what doesn't. As clients, we are asking for this type of input and direction! Jessica's vision for our projects comes together as a cohesive design which works!

I have seen Team Jessica's work on two condo projects in the up and coming hot area of Nashville. Her eye for melding the atmosphere of the location in conjunction with the architecture and feel of the spaces themselves are unparalleled. You know the space is just "right" when you enter it. Her team and their level of professionalism gives you a sense of confidence in making design choices that otherwise you may find difficult to do. This design team makes designing a space fun and exciting while still getting the job done in an impeccable manner. Kudos to Jessica and her vision for creating a world class design team!
