Generally the team did a great job; however I found that I needed to be more informed about the project to manage my expectations accordingly. The project was a kitchen renovation that was completed in about 9 weeks. The Karp team was very helpful in keeping my project within the budget we has set. The project began in January 2018 and was finished in March 2018.

They have consistently been the utmost professionals who produce quality work consistently resulting in excellent customer relationships. Throughout my 30 year career in drywall I have worked with several general contractors throughout Connecticut and the northeast, and Karp Associates is by far one of the best if not THE best company I have ever worked with in every aspect of building.

Arnold and the entire Karp team did a wonderful job on our house renovation from start to finish. In my experience one of the keys to working with a good builder is the caliber of the painters, finishers, mechanics and other specialists who are brought into the job, and the entire Karp team was thorough, timely and produced quality results. Design, oversight, project management, follow-through...all first-rate. Highly recommend.

I have used Karp Associates on two occasions over the last 20 years. The first was a total reconstruction of an existing house and the Karp team performed beautifully. We ended up with a first class highly custom house that was featured in several magazines and on the Kitchen Tour. I can say that they paid attention to detail and were very flexible when it came changes and problems. They also renovated a condo for us and did a superb job and came in 15% under the estimate.

I cannot say enough good things about Karp Associates. I purchased a "spec" home from Karp in mid-2014, although I have known Arnold Karp for many years prior to this purchase. His firm had previously assisted me in getting a house ready for sale. The new house purchase was necessitated in "planning for the future", as we are getting older, and contains an in-house elevator. Karp Associates' attention to detail in building is truly outstanding, from exquisite trim work to top of the line construction material and items such as tile and appliance selection. On the spec house they did not skimp on anything. Just prior to the purchase we had them finish the basement and, again, all of the work was executed in a timely fashion and with great care on the details. To add to the experience I would say that the individuals and employees at the firm are the best I have ever encountered, and we have built two custom houses and done two additions and alterations to two other homes. Karp Associates is my go-to firm; I just wish they could have done the work for me on a second home in another state.

Our company assisted a property owner with its prospective purchase and redevelopment of a property in New Canaan, Connecticut. We worked with Karp Associates, the buyers representative, to address potential environmental liabilities from historical uses of the site, and from off-site releases at other properties. Karp Associates helped us understand the project goals, and future site use expectations and limitations so that we could incorporate that information into the environmental remediation decision making process. The superior communication and responsiveness we experienced while working with Karp Associates became a major factor in the overall success of the project. We have had Karp Associates work on several renovations over the past 20 years. They have the most professional team that guides you thru the entire process and helps manage your expectations as a client. They were a wonderful liaison w/ the architect and other subcontractors. When changes needed to be made they were on top of them and always one step ahead. We set an initial budget and had weekly updates on where we stood which enabled us to make the most intelligent decisions throughout the process. When I brought home a stained glass window, they made adjustments and accommodated the change like it was always there. And when I wanted to match 100 year stone foundation they found the best resource at the best price. Great team/
