We bought a house that Masterpeice had completely renovated a couple years prior. We were really impressed with the quality of the work and so were many others that visited our house -- from inspectors to tradespeople to friends/family -- so when we decided to add on a sitting room off of our kitchen/dining room, we chose to go with them again. It was an ~8 month process, but in the end, we were really happy with the final product: - We really appreciated their attention to detail, ensuring they got everything right - They helped navigate some obstacles that came up during the process from permitting, etc., so their expertise & guidance helped make the process easier - Their team was great to work with. The team is friendly and profressional and always made time to answer our questions - The finished product is beautiful and tied in seamlessly with the rest of the house. We have been really happy with the new room! I would recommend using Masterpeice - we were very happy with the process and the outcome!

Masterpiece building of Austin built a custom walk in shower for us. Little did we know there was a very slow leak in the shower pan that resulted in destroying the underlayment, it was all mold when finally torn out. It also leaked through the ceiling below destroying the floor joices below and rotting the wood between the floors. Rusted nail holes were discovered in the shower pan. And guess what, they said it was a design flaw. They will not own up and pay for their mistakes. When you finally discover the mistakes, the company will first not respond, second blame you. Stay away from this company. You also want to check their insurance. Seems they have misrepresented what they warranty.

In the first few years a brand new house should not have 2 major roof leaks causing major interior damage. Should also not have all three bathrooms flood, needing tile and floors to be ripped out. Should not need 9 months troubleshooting of constant electrical wire shortages in the outdoor lighting. and more. The owner was referred to us a guy to trust it ends there. Mostly now we get no response and lies. And watch out for their fake insurance, that does not come through either.

Had an absolutely horrible time with this builder. Promised artisan level quality and delivered mediocrity that required extensive rework. Avoid.

If you are thinking about building a new structure or remodeling an existing one look no further. Masterpiece holds true to its name! Masterpiece just completed a studio/guest house for me in my backyard. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the people who work there. Leo's team of Chris K., Chris S., Omar, and Ashley in the office did an excellent job of making this addition seem like it was original to the house. The building design, interior space and surrounding patio is a show stopper! I couldn't be happier. They are true professionals. I was presented with a folder containing all of the details regarding the project so everything was clear from the beginning as to what was going to be done, when, cost, guarantees, company policies, etc. They are a hands on company and excellent communicators. They not only delivered what was planned they went above and beyond to make my studio truly a Masterpiece! Thanks so much!

Masterpiece did a great job. We did a large remodel - complete gut and rebuild of our kitchen, master bedroom and master bathroom. They came in on budget and on time. And most importantly, it looks perfect.

I really felt like Masterpiece tried to fulfill most of our requests on time and diligently. Like most remodels it went over budget and time.

Masterpiece Building did an excellent job on our project completed in April 2014. The original (40-year-old) master bedroom and tiny adjoining bath were transformed into a gorgeous new master suite. We also added a beautiful new room with a bath. The new construction is so well integrated with the existing home that visitors ask which room is new because they can't tell where the added space begins. The Masterpiece owner and senior project manager collaborated well with homeowner and architect and the subcontractors did quality work. The company stood behind its work and fixed an issue that arose after project completion. We are very pleased with the work that Masterpiece did on our home.

On strong recommendation from a friend, another Masterpiece Building client, we hired them to do a medium size project; replacing standard builder-grade windows with custom windows. There were actually structural complexities, but Leo and his staff solved every problem and the result was fantastic. About a year later we asked them to help up redesign our back patio & deck space; again to replace standard builder-grade stuff. Their design background gave us new ideas for a complete new and fantastic back deck and patio. Their work is truly 'Art you live in'. Thanks Leo. Margo & Bobby

My husband and I worked with Leo of Masterpiece Builders on a master bedroom remodel when we first moved into our home. Finding a great contractor can be difficult and we have had our share of negative experiences. Leo and his team do amazing work and have a great eye for detail. They completed the work on time and on budget. We were living in the house during the renovation and their crews were very clean and swept their way out of our house each day. Leo is wiling to share his thoughts and bring ideas to the table and is willing to speak up when he thinks that something will not look right. He considers the space, functionality and the personality of his clients. We worked together as a team and the entire process from start to finish was great. We loved the communication and now consider Leo a friend. We are gearing up to use Masterpiece Builders again. Having a great contractor that you can trust is crucial to any renovation or project - we really can not recommend Masterpiece Builders enough.

We are friends and neighbors of the Moores, whose project is already featured here on Houzz. Simply put, when we saw the extraordinary quality and attention to detail Masterpiece delivered for them, we knew we had to have them do our own upcoming renovation. And we were not disappointed. Our project was primarily a major structural repair, requiring the removal of about 1500sf of wood floor and subfloor, in order to shore up undersized beams and relevel flooring joists by up to 1.75". With that much of our house already torn open, it was the perfect excuse to expand the kitchen and do other design enhancements we'd been hoping for. This project was large and complicated, but Masterpiece lived up to their name. We were back in our house in less than three months, and we are now the envy of the neighborhood. Thank you Leo.
