About Us

Thank you for your interest in New Day Interiors for your latest home project! I really enjoy taking the time to get to know my clients so I can provide a space that truly suits them on every level. My main goal in this process is to create your dream space. Imagine having a home you love to look at. A home you love to keep clean. A home you love to show off and entertain in, and come home to at the end of a long work day. We've all seen rooms/homes, maybe a snapshot on Pinterest or an HGTV episode, that evokes complete admiration. A design that makes you say, "Yes. This is totally my style." A design that makes you want to replicate it for yourself instantly. I want to give you that. We can work with a variety of budgets, and make changes big and small to create a home that you, quite frankly, are in love with.

I had Krista come out for some color consultation and found the experience of working with her to be positive. She clearly knows her subject and very expertly balanced suggesting her professional opinion with considering my personal tastes. Actually, she helped refined my ideas by directing me to more richer and sophisticated shades where I would have gone too kiddie color with intensity and saturation, all while keeping it within the section of the color wheel that I gravitate toward. She is a good communicator and very reasonably priced for her level of expertise. I highly recommend her.

I love Krista's use of color and space. She isn't cookie cutter and really wants to give each person what they want to live with in their home. She focuses on function, style, warmth, and details that draw the eye to move around the room. Krista will leave your home cleaner, friendlier, and more functional than you thought previously possible for that space.

Krista designed and painted a couple rooms for us and we were blown away with her creative vision and eye for detail. I particularly appreciated her approachability and communication, which helped me better identify my design preferences. We’ve used contractors in the past that never took the time to listen and understand what I was going for, which ultimately resulted in rework and less than ideal experience. Krista went above and beyond, and I could not be more pleased with the end result!
