We first met Mike of Sandstone Associates at the Home Expo Show January 2016. We made the decision to go with Mike as he was very professional, helpful & easy to work with. His experience helped us to navigate through a kitchen Reno, working within our budget & finishing on time. I hired Sandstone Associates to redevelop my basement. Mike was able to work with my limited budget and the results are amazing. His trades were always on time and always professional. I would hire Sandstone again.

We hired Sandstone to do an extensive kitchen renovation including cupboards, countertops and knocking down a wall. Sandstone also did a full bathroom renovation from floor to ceiling, fireplace removal in our living room and ceiling paint and refinish on our main floor. Mike was referred to us by friends and was described as being "on time and on budget" and he very much lived up to this description. Mike made us feel comfortable throughout the process, was open to working with us on the pricing and was highly trustworthy. He was helpful in selecting vendors and his subtrades did an excellent job and kept the house broom clean every day. During the renovation, our bathtub was chipped and Mike replaced the entire thing for us. Partway through the renovation, a pipe burst on our main floor (through no fault of the renovation) and we were out of the country. Mike and his team went above and beyond to help us during this time and Mike still made our renovation a top priority when working around the delays this caused. We would highly recommend Mike, and already have to many friends, for any renovation. We are beyond happy with our new home.

I have worked with this company on two separate renovations in two different houses and would not hesitate to hire them again if/when we do further renovations. We first worked with Sandstone in 2010 on an extensive renovation which included two bathrooms, hardwood installation, exterior, deck, carpet, trim and paint. Mike and John were great to deal with and the work that was done was very professional. The second renovation was a bathroom in 2014. This renovation was done ahead of time and once again the work was extremely professional. Mike was very good at keeping me informed of progress and what work was happening when. I am very happy with the end result of all the renovations done.

Sandstone Associates renovated two bathrooms for us, main bathroom and ensuite. The first project, main bathroom was so well done, that we had Sandstone Associates return to renovate the ensuite. They were very knowledgeable of what needed to be done. They had a lot of experience and met deadlines and our budget. I would recommend Sandstone Associates for any renovation needs.

We worked with Mike to renovate our kitchen. It is a small space and needed a dramatic update. Mike took all of our ideas and managed to transform them into reality with very little issue. Anything that did come up was dealt with quickly and headache free; as Mike did all the coordination with the sub-trades. The work was completed in a timely fashion and, in the end, we actually saved some money! Boom. Our experience with Mike was overly positive and I would have no issues hiring him for our next project. I've also been telling all of our friends/family about his services who are thinking about starting a reno project

We had a renovation done after purchasing a 50’s era home late in 2013. Mike was very proficient in providing a quote and an estimated timeline. The final project was finished within the timeline and below budget to a very high standard of quality. When it comes to home renovation, you can’t ask for much more than that.
