Savon Pavers is a Disabled Veteran-owned Company, owned and operated by Jamie and Michelle Valdez. Savon Pavers is an Outdoor Living Specialist and an Expert in designing and building Outdoor Living Spaces. Specializing in Interlocking Concrete Pavers, Eco-friendly Synthetic Turf, Custom BBQ's, Water Features, and Paver Cleaning. Check out our paver cleaning process-link provided to left of bio. We thrive ourselves in making the visions of our clients a reality. Meet the Owner: James (Jamie) Valdez James has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. After his service in the Army with the 82nd Airborne Division, he began his career in the Operating Engineers Local 12 Union. James has worked on various construction projects ranging from building bridges to mass grading hillside residential and commercial properties. During James' 12 year grading career with Operating Engineers, he worked on several high profile projects. Some of his most memorable projects include the San Diego trolley extension, The Black Mountain Grading Project, Highway 125 Grading Project, and The Toll Roads in Orange County. More recently, James has worked with local paver companies and enjoyed the new aspect of designing outdoor spaces. He decided in 2013 to open Savon Pavers so that he could utilize his construction background alongside his creative side to design and bring to life his customer's dream projects.

Jamie started our project in late October. Pavers in backyard and down both sides and front With demolition of door step adding pavers on door step The job was finished by Christmas Everything was ok until the door step It is a mess (see pictures) There is zero communication with this company Jamie’s excuse is Covid Which I understand but not to the point of no communication on finishing the mess. Ashely is the only one who has been trying to help. Jamie was quick to take out money. I just want everything fixed.

Savon did a fine job re-contouring our driveway to accommodate low profile vehicles and replacing back patio. Local rep, Mike, was very helpful in designing our job and responsive as the job progressed. Lupe and his crew were exceptional, courteous, and kept the job site clean after each day. We would highly recommend Savon!

This was the best experience! Mike , our designer and project manager, was so helpful and accommodating. And, the crew was amazing. They showed up on time, put in a full day's work and clearly were very experienced at what they were doing. The job was finished quicker than expected and the end result was absolutely beautiful.

When we bought our house the existing backyard was unusable so we hired Savon to do a complete gut and remodel of our backyard to include beautiful pavers and full outdoor kitchen. Our kitchen included a built in: Refrigerator, Gas BBQ, Gas Griddle, Gas Stove, Ice Chest, TV, Lighting and and all of the stainless steel compartments and trim. Jamie, Tony and the whole crew were professional, on time and on budget from day 1 to day 60. We love our backyard now . I would definitely recommend them.

We are happy with the work done by Savon. They were able to start our project quickly and completed within a reasonable timeframe. During the project our backyard looked like a war zone at times, but I believe that happens with all construction. I wish there would have been more communication at times, but a little patient persistence helped. Everything that was discussed and planned was completed. We have had many neighbors compliment on our backyard project. UPDATE: JUN 2020-AUG 2020 I have reduced my original review from 5 stars to 3 stars. In June 2020 I reported that 2 of the pavers had cracked and asked what the process to get those pavers repaired would be. Because of the global pandemic I was expecting delays, but I was given a date. When that date came, no one arrived. Turns out the person was sick (which I completely forgive) however zero information was communicated to us, and it took multiple phone calls and emails before I was able to get anyone out to complete the repair

I chose this company over 4 others I had met with based on my meeting with the project designer who was very personable and represented this company well. Though I love the design of walkways, sitting spaces (a combination of dg and pavers), as well as the patio (all pavers), I don't think the quality of work for the walkways was the best. The bender board was not installed tightly enough to the dg and therefore there is gapping in some places as well as screws sticking out. In some areas the dg is cracking and separating from the pavers even though the project was completed just a couple weeks ago. Workers, though friendly and hardworking were not always responsible with clean up or respectful of landscape. A major disappointment was the lack of professionalism and responsiveness shown by the project manager who on two occasions made appointments, yet never showed, and did not reply to messages. The only time I saw him was by accident when I got home from work early and even then he was rather disengaged and seemed bothered by my questions and concerns. I will not be recommending this company to anyone else.

Highly recommended! Savon replaced all our concrete with beautiful pavers and put in artificial turf and a retaining wall. They had great design ideas, did high quality work, and met deadlines and budgets.

It was a complete pleasure dealing with this company and their staff. The workers were exceptional and completed all work to the highest standard. We love our patio, the wall and fire pit.Jamie kept his word, the work was completed on time at the agreed price. I highly recommend this company to anyone who has an outdoor project and needs some sound advice, Jamie has a good feel for the right design for the descriptions give by the owners.

We recently had our backyard remodeled by Jamie from Savon Pavers. I had gotten 3 previous bids on the project but delayed the choice due to the high bids. I had heard about Jamie from 2 friends that had yards completed. Jamie came over and gave me a bid that was 30% less than the other bids. He also was able to do all the work needed, I didn't have to find separate contractors. Savon Pavers did pavers, tear out, site prep, concrete work, patio covers, artificial turf, drainage and even some electrical work and landscape lighting. I was very pleased with the work done and the attention to detail necessary to get the job done. Everyone loves our backyard and I'm really glad I decided on Savon Pavers and Jamie.
