We hired Kishan to design and build our family's new modern home. We not only got our dream home as a result; we also got a friend from the process. When we started the process we knew that designing and building a home is challenging - we were told from others who embarked on the process that there are endless decisions, often things don't work out as planned, and everything costs more than expected. Granted there were bumps along the way during our design and build, but Kishan managed the process with organization, calmness, and creativity. The end result is magnificent - 2 years later we wouldn't change a thing. Our home is well thought out and matches our life and needs perfectly; it is unique and timeless; and it's just damn beautiful. We have maintained our relationship with Kishan, who still helps us with any necessary home repairs and additions more than 2 years after completion. We would, without hesitation, recommend Kishan's design and building services to others, and would ourselves be thrilled to work with him again on another project!

We recently purchased a semi-attached in the infill area. Kishan had designed and built the house with excellent layout and attentions to many details. More importantly, large windows and smaller sunny window and strategically placed where the house can have maximum sunshine during the day (we moved in in the beginning of Mar and we had excellent brightness and warmth throughout day time). The design is modern and simplistic. We really love extra storage on the main floor which kept the interior uncluttered. Even though, cabinets are abundant, the cabinet design flows with the rest of the main floor. Included appliances are top-notch brands and we are enjoying the quality. There are many small upgrades under-sink plastic guards and LED decorative lights which satisfied picky home-owner like myself. Finally, Kishan maintains good communications for all minor touch-ups/fixing even after we moved. We love this house! Thanks, Kishan!

Our experience with sk2 Design + Build was fantastic. Right from design stage through to construction completion. We really liked the opportunity of working close with sk2 Design + Build's architect to build our house from scratch. Their architect really took the time to understand our needs and was really interested in working with our ideas and how we could incorporate them into the house. We saw value as a key participant in the design process and really appreciated the Architect's input and direction on producing a house design that works for us but at the same time fit our modern style and budget. The house build took a little longer than expected but for good reason as. We really appreciated the flexibility of sk2 Design + Build throughout this stage as there were a number of design changes that extended the building schedule. sk2 Design + Build was very accommodating with onsite changes and managing the project to ensure all items were addressed in a timely manner along with good communication. We are very happy with our home and with the services provided by sk2 Design + Build. We enjoyed working with sk2 Design + Build and their Team. We selected sk2 for a kitchen remodeling project and were glad we did. Kishan and his team provided us with many creative ideas and options to maximise the space and functionality - something which was lacking in the original design. We recently took possession of our new home here in Calgary, designed and built by sk2. We have to say we were thoroughly impressed by the overall design where modern architecture has met function. Looking at many places throughout the city, sk2's home struck us as one of the highest build qualities and most innovative designs (forward thinking, clean lines and organic feel, but not so radical that it sacrifices the fundamentals of a highly functional space). The fixtures and interior choices were top knotch, and more importantly we can tell there have been limited compromises in the quality of the structure itself. We also appreciate the attention to detail and additional touches of the latest home technologies (such as including an HRV, toe-vac, water filter, sound systems, cat5e, etc...). Bottom line is we have felt that Kishan and team have made every effort not just to sell a product, but design and build a home that they would be excited and proud to live in themselves.
