I had used Slaughterbeck Floors 3 times since 1990, so I knew the quality of their work and I trust them completely. After a full home remodel, completed in November 2023, I noticed that the company hired by my contractor to refinish my 80 year old oak floors did an awful job, almost ruining the wood. There were ripples on the floors throughout the house, sanding circle scuffs at the doorways, and holes and flaws pretty much everywhere that had not been filled. In addition, there were gouges in the kitchen area where the workers had dragged appliances into place. It was a mess. I called Slaughterbeck and Paul came out to access the issues and agreed to take on this very challenging "fix" job. He put one of his best guys on the job which I appreciated so much. Dominic was AMAZING! He turned a really bad situation into a beautiful floor. His expertise was evident in every aspect of his approach. From educating me about the issues he saw, proposing solutions to fix the issues, and communicating with me through the entire process. The result was incredible. I am so happy with the result and with the experience I've had with Slaughterbeck every step of the way. Fantastic customer service, knowledgeable and talented staff, and craftsmen who really care about getting it right. Thank you to the entire company for helping me with a really difficult issue.

Showed up on time. Were professional in every way while they were in my house. Did a good job on promised schedule at a reasonable price. They refinished the oak floors that had been under carpeting for 50 years. My wife is thrilled with the results. Note: We are about to gut our kitchen and I intend to have Slaughterbeck install new floors as part of the makeover. Can't give greater praise than to hire them for another job.

We looked at 6 or 7 other flooring places, and were most impressed by Slaughterbeck's showroom. They have a fantastic selection, and their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to install our carpet and wood flooring earlier than expected, and their installation crew for both was fantastic. I have done several remodeling projects, and I am hard to please, but I will use Slaughterbeck Floors for all of our future flooring projects, and continue to highly recommend them!

Recommended by our designer, Joan was very knowledgeable and informed us of requirements for having a new, beautiful wood floor installed over a slab surface. They installed a gorgeous, engineered wood throughout our home and bedroom carpet we requested. Maybe not the cheapest but we got a solid, quality job. "You get what you pay for..." Would definitely recommend to others.

Joan and crew are wonderful to work with. We love our hardwood floors. We decided to stay pretty traditional (red oak), but we had a couple places that needed accent strips. Joan helped us deal with a tricky step down into the living room that could be easily missed because of the line of sight brought your eye to the back yard. She came up with a Brazilian hardwood (I do not remember the species) that made the step much more noticeable and helped us to make sure guests would not trip or fall down the step. She incorporated the same wood around the brick fireplace as a visual barrier before the slightly elevated red bricks. She suggested it would help act as reminder to not stub your toes in the mornings. She was right: so far no toe stubs!! The floors look great to this day in spite of us getting a Chocolate Lab pup!! Slaughterbeck Floors is a great place to buy and have your hardwood flloors installed. I used them a few years ago to put in hardwood floors downstairs. Ever since I did that, I wanted to put them upstairs as well. I did that this past October. Staff at Slaughterbeck's are professional and extremely help -- from the office/store staff to the installers. I highly recommend them. I LOVE my floors!!

Hired Slaughterbeck Floors to a very difficult patching of a hand-scraped pecan floor. They did an outstanding job ... I was very surprised they could match the floor as closely as they did.
