I work for a flooring company in Colorado. We sell a mix of Luxury vinyl flooring as well as engineered. Vinyl depending on the type can be glued down or installed with a floating method. Engineered can also be installed in the same methods. Vinyl will not scratch, engineered eventually will. We have sold a lot of the vinyl flooring recently as Boulder, CO was flooded in September and the vinyl floors will not take on water. Look at US floors product called Coretec as well as Manningtons Adura.
