SLIC Design was hired to remodel a house. Sara and her team were creative and professional. They listened to my requests, explained the process, billing, and were willing to work within a budget. They gave their honest opinion on various aspects of the project. I had frequent contact with Britney who worked diligently to find the right items. Phone calls and emails were returned quickly. When a problem became apparent, this company made sure that it was taken care of as quickly as possible. They have followed through on all aspects of this project. SLIC design made sure that all of the work was done correctly. I recommend SLIC design without reservation.

We have hired SLIC for 3 projects - renovation of two bathrooms and our kitchen in our 1920s East Austin bungalow, and renovation of floors and installation of a vent hood at our Wimberley ranch. We were really happy with all the work and with the process. Sara is super organized and responsive, and was really diligent about sticking to our tight timelines. She also was willing to work creatively with us to stay within our budgets. We have recommended and will continue to recommend SLIC to our family and friends!

We worked with SLIC Design to remodel our downtown office. Any remodel is overwhelming, BUT Sara and Britney took charge and helped us: build the floor plan, pick finishes, paint, and furniture. Basically soup to nuts! We were very happy with the finished product and SLIC Design takes pride in their work which is a rare thing these days. Highly recommend for any size budget.

I hired Sara to help me turn a small spare bedroom into a home office for a full-time work-from-home role. Working with Sara and her team was not just a pleasure, it was a very smart investment. Sara encouraged me to get outside of my comfort zone while making me feel completely safe doing so. Her team of junior/associate designers are really delightful to work with and while my budget was a lot smaller than other clients', I never felt like I was at the bottom of the list. That's a tough balance to achieve. And when it comes to the design itself - it's been a few weeks now and I still can't stop gushing about my home office. Working with SLIC on our kitchen remodel has been the best house decision we have made since purchasing our house over five years ago. Working on the design phase with Sara was so easy and fun. She guided us through the early decision making process so we never felt lost or overwhelmed like we had on previous projects. At the same time, everything felt very collaborative. Sara listened to all of our ideas and incorporated them into the final design. The final design really captures our personalities (I know that sounds trite but its true) to the point that it would seem that we did it all by ourselves but we never could have come up with anything close to as nice and as functional without Sara's help. Sara, Jackie, and Britney were just as great to work with during the construction phase. Their expertise and relationships with quality suppliers and contractors was invaluable. If something didn't turn out exactly as we wanted, they made sure that everything was fixed to the point that we were 100% satisfied. In the end, our kitchen has far exceeded our expectations and was finished on time and under budget. None of those things could have happened without SLIC.

I have loved working with SLIC Design on a couple of major home improvement projects. The entire team is professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a small project to a large one for personal or professional reasons. I'm already looking for reasons to use them again!

We worked with Sara a few years ago on our first house and liked working with her so much that we used her again on our second house. One of the things we appreciate most about Sara is that she does not just say what she thinks we want to hear. She gives her true opinion and tells us what she would recommend, but always in the end tells us that it is her opinion and it is our house and ultimately our call. She does a great job of balancing our tastes and pushing us out of our comfort zone. . Sara helped us from the beginning of the process in designing our second house from picking out tile, wall colors, granite, etc to working with the contractor to helping us pull everything all together. We thought we would be able to take on some of the decorating ourselves but in the end we did not have the time and got to a point where we just wanted it done. This is where Sara and her team excel as we determined what still needed to be done and Sara helped us accomplish these goals in a timely fashion. On installation day, Sara and her team were extremely quick and efficient not to mention the styling looks amazing. I highly recommend Sara and her team at SLIC Design.

Sara is Amazing! She is so easy to work with and is able to turn your inspiration to real life. We worked together transforming a concrete box into a picturesque downtown condo. From residential, to commercial, to staging, Sara has the ability to do it all from start to finish. Sara's extensive knowledge in CAD gives her the capability to present you with various floor/lighting/plumbing plans which proved to be very helpful. Sara is connected throughout town with the best contractors and retailers, so she is able to get great pricing on labor and materials. No matter your budget, she is able to source anything from beautiful affordable options to unique custom pieces. Sara's best quality is working with you to make sure you are happy. She spent countless hours in design consultations making sure I was elated about our selections and would even come back a couple days later to present other options just to confirm I was not settling. She also is not scared to present you with her unconventional ideas. Using SLIC design was the best design I have made. The personalized attention combined with the compliments I receive on my house are priceless.
