Michael and the team at Stone Remodeling renovated our apartment two years ago and they were an incredible partner to work with in this process! This was my first time renovating, and Michael was so helpful and trustworthy as we figured out how to make the most impact within our budget. Our reno was mostly cosmetic but we'd absolutely go back to him for anything structural or more architectural as well. All the work that was done is still in excellent shape, and have not had any need to touch things up in the last 2.5 years of wear and tear (floor staining, new baseboards, bathroom/shower tiles, and so much more). Michael is so helpful, kind, always available, and really diligent about staying on schedule - I highly recommend!

We hired Michael and Stone Remodeling for a full gut renovation of our two bedroom apartment, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I was doubtful in the beginning that he could complete it all in the 2.5 month time frame that he gave us but he delivered right on time! Michael gut renovated our 1bed/1bath coop on the UWS. He was extremely professional and we couldn't be happier with the work that he did. Michael did a remodel of a bathroom for us as well as creating an alcove hallway in a NYC apartment. The quality of the work was excellent and he kept us informed every step of the way (as this is a second home so we don't live there full time.) He sent us photos as we went along so we could see what was being done when we couldn't go in person. We were having trouble deciding on a vanity because of the size of our space, and he ended up having one made to our specifications that fits the small space and gives us the functionality we wanted. There was an issue with our plumbing that had to be addressed with the building and needed additional permits. Michael took care of all of that and coordinated the site visits and the extra work. Michael was very easy to work with and coordinated with our architect/designer when needed. I would highly recommend him and we hope to have him do a future remodel of our kitchen!

Stone Remodeling renovated my kitchen in my Bronx Concourse apt. It was pretty drab before but Michael and his team transformed it into a chef’s kitchen with plenty of cabinet space, an island and a beautiful tile floor. He said it’d take about three weeks and that’s how long it took. And the price was about what we agreed to beyond changes I requested. And when there was an issue he promptly corrected it. I’d highly recommend them.

Michael and his team were fantastic. His cabinet guy perfectly brought the architect’s vision of the bathroom to mind. MIchael even has an in house designer who figured out how to optimize our awkward kitchen. We converted a one bedroom to a two bedroom in manhattan and the process was about as good as anyone can hope for! we were barely above budget (not Michael’s fault) and were able to move in within the time frame that he gave. All in all, great experience. HIghly recommend. Suggest you just use his team, including for DOB approval.

Michael and his team at Stone Remodeling were incredible to work with. I had my kitchen (partial), bathroom, and closets redone back in 2019. My bathroom needed entirely gutted and redone. He made sure every detail was perfect and timing went as close to schedule as possible. When there were any problems along the way, he made sure to take care of them swiftly and effectively. An accidental old pipe burst and Michael fixed not only my bathroom but the bathroom below my apartment which needed minor touchups. He and his team are diligent, respectful of your space, and do a beautiful job helping in design. They have superior craftsmanship that even after 5 years it still looks brand new to me! The product has held up perfectly and I'm so thankful that I chose Stone Remodeling to redo my much needed renovations on my apartment. Michael and his team are also great at communication. I was kept up to date each step of the way and knew that my remodeling was in good hands. If I ever had an issue, Michael was there to solve it immediately. Additionally, my budget was tight given this was one of my first home remodels. Michael worked with me on pricing and helped me cut where I could without sacrificing the good quality work and wanting my remodel last a long time. I chose Stone to complete a major kitchen and bathroom renovation after speaking to ~15 vendors in New York City across the budget spectrum. I'm very grateful I chose to work with Michael - his style and mentality matched mine. I wanted a high-quality renovation, but the 'premium' providers I spoke to quoted ridiculous numbers. I chose Michael because I sensed he had a high standard (previous project photos and reviews looked good) but also sensed he would work with me to keep costs reasonable in the important places. And that ended up being true. A few examples: I took on the role of sourcing, buying, and storing materials at my apartment. Michael coached me through it, but I did that work, giving me greater control of material costs and saving Michael time. I was really involved with co-op board approvals. A more 'premium' company might handle some things like this, but you pay an arm and a leg for the service. Michael is the perfect partner for someone who is willing to be more involved in their reno planning and logistics but still wants a very high-quality outcome at a fair price. I'm very happy to have worked with him.
