The kitchen shop

In Sep, 2020, we ordered a recessed medicine wall cabinet from the Kitchen Shop through their designer Sara Whitmire, having provided her a detailed diagram and shop drawing with exact specifications, costing us $641. When it was delivered on November 13, it was 1 1/2" over specifications. We were repeatedly unable to contact Sara, so our contractor re-fabricated the cabinet, costing us $150. On Dec 9, Sara agreed to refund us that amount due to their error. It was not until the manager became aware of THIS REVIEW that she decided to take appropriate action and reimburse us for our costs - months later. We would caution future customers to tread carefully with this business, since clearly some of its staff has issues with telling the truth or fulfilling its obligation to provide service.

John Michael is a highly trained professional who provided insight beyond our wildest hopes. His training in art and his talent with design and experience with kitchens gave us a classic new kitchen that we are 'over the moon' happy with! We always enjoyed his respectful, sincere demeanor...a very patient man!

After a couple of miscommunications, the Kitchen Shop designer made every effort to remedy the issue between the products vendor and me. Would I use the KS again? Definitely.

I used John Michael and The Kitchen Shop to do some upgrades to my kitchen, and to completely redo my bathroom. Both jobs were done within the estimated timeframe, and done very professionally. I told John Michael, the designer, what my vision was and he was able to bring that vision to life. I was very satisfied with both projects.

The staff is very professional, informative, offered good suggestions for us to select from, etc. Stayed on top of the project from beginning to end. Can say enough good things about all the staff and the project as a whole... we love our new kitchen and the experience we had with The Kitchen Shop.

We initially hired this group because of the design John Michael proposed. We had requested a few specific ideas and he included them with ease. We were pleased to be "pushed" by some of his ideas and learned to trust his design ability in the process. The kitchen renovation project turned out amazing. The entire crew was great as well but we were really impressed by the degree of expertise they had. They were prompt and courteous and even offered an idea or two which turned out to be fantastic. Most importantly the project fulfilled our budget expectations and followed the timeline. Awesome. I love my kitchen!

John Michael was very creative in the design of our new kitchen. He made numerous suggestions that we would have never thought of on our own. He delivered a high quality project in a timely manner. We are very satisfied with his services and totally happy with our new kitchen.

We worked on a kitchen design. The designer was very thorough and helpful. We loved the design, unfortunately we were unable to come up with the money to follow through with it yet but still hoping for the future.
