Dave just completed our custom plans for our unique lot on the Rocky Mount Reservoir. We are excited to get it started because what he has laid out is going to be amazing. He listened to us when we talked about our lifestyles and about the views we wanted to see everyday. He was quick to respond to our emails and to make the changes we requested along the way. It took a while to complete because we had to stop occasionally to get a survey done, or get a permit from the county to ensure we could build our forever home the way we wanted it. But Dave never complained or put us off. He offered great advice when we could not make up our minds on specific features. We could not have asked for a better partner to help us building the house of our dreams.

David was fantastic to work with! He was incredibly responsive and a great communicator. Never let a single message of my emails go unacknowledged or unaddressed. He was more than fair and flexible with his pricing to meet my budget and just overall an honest person. His work was great and he didn't have an ego like many of the architects I've worked with in the past! Would 10/10 work with him again and recommend him to anyone! Not to mention, he is just a kind and pleasant person to interact with!

We worked with David to design our remodel of our 2nd floor on our primary residence. He made it very easy for us to take this on, not really knowing what we needed to do since we had never done this before. David came on site and did what he needed, and generated the plans that we were looking for. After several revisions over a long period of time (due to us making changes) we have our plans for construction and are very excited to see the outcome. Along the way David was extremely professional and courteous and I consistently felt like a valued customer even though I know our job was on the smaller side. I will definitely contact David again if we ever need more design work, and I have already recommended him to others!

This is a followup to my last review. My wife and I had some unexpected life issues that caused us to need our original plans revised. Dave was on top of it, had the revisions done, and out to engineering within days. We will continue to use and recommend TRD for any architectural needs. Always a pleasure to work with him.
