Victor was our general contractor when we rebuilt our house back in 2013. Before selecting Victory Construction, I have interviewed 5 general contractors, got bids from 4. Victor's quote was not the highest, nor the lowest. I visited a few of his remodelling projects and spoke to the owners a number of times. Based on their feedback and my observations (regarding build and finishing quality), I decided to go with Victory Construction. Our project took 10 months to complete. During the construction I was able to review with him regularly on cost and schedule, which he tried hard to maintain. Our project had some delays but it was not caused by him. Total build cost came in pretty close to my original budget. I did choose to upgrade some materials and paid for the cost differences from the materials specified in the original quote. I don't recall if Victor asked for a cost increase with the exception of 2 shower doors that was not included in the contract in the first place. In terms of work, subcontractors he used were very good, especially the concrete, plumbing and tile installers. One sub which was responsible for the exterior siding did not perform as well as I expected. When I rasised my concerns to Victor, he immediated replaced the sub and had the entire work redone. Victor was very responsive and willingly complied with our demands. After the project was completed, I had asked Victor to re-balance the heating-A/C system. Victor was willing to add another duct & vent in our master bedroom at no cost to me. Other than that, since the project was completed more than 11 years ago, we have not had the need to call Victor back for repairs of any kind. When we had Solar Panels installed last year, Victor was very helpful in sending the roofer to provide estimates. After the solar installation, Victor came on my request to check on rain water drainage for the flat roof with no hesitation. In my opinion Victor is a honest, responsive and reliable person I can trust. I would rate my experience with Victory Construction and their work an 8,5/10..
